Be fucking honest here though, no one, but the lowest of the dumpster D ranks truly believes Shadow and Dragon are as bad as Blood.

Blood is a fucking train wreck of game design. It's more badly designed than Roach and Daria. At least those can be tuned down with 1 or 2 nerfs. Even if they give Blood an "I win" card, you still have to shift through 37 shit cards and bad class mechanics to get to it.

Yes, kickstarting new players into game makes it that much more popular. It will take a while for them to get large collections but having fast access to deck or two can make the difference of people playing or not.

They can still eventually make more separate gold/vial/crystal sinks. Though I mostly hope for revamped ranking system that encourages to keep playing and not just stagnating at Master.

I'd trade cyclone for another Monika or maybe Bahamut/Satan.
I've played around 300 games with 2 cyclone blades in my deck and they rarely make a difference. Usually when I can pull one off I could've just done an alternative play.

Even though it's the only board clear sword has, there is no reason to run it at all. Best case scenario is a turn 7 with a 2 drop (which you may or may not be able to evolve). Although if Shadow gets more popular, running 2 might be good to deal with Death's Breath, as sword doesn't have a decent answer to that.

I understand running Bellringers instead of Unica though, the lack of draw really hurts the deck.

Pretty hard to help you when you don't exactly state what troubles you are having with the deck. Anyway, the general guideline is play your Reaper on turn 4, not turn 2. And I think it's better if you just go back, look at the replays of your losses, and see for yourself what you could have done differently to win those games.

Cygames just refuses to give sword more tools such as a better draw engine or a decent board clear.
Releasing a board clear that relies on you keeping a follower on board for more than your own turn, in an meta where everyone got cheap removal and 2 aoe cards was a mistake.

RoB as in Rage of Bahamut, not the Rise expac for this game, was fine, up until the localization/American team decided they were bored with it and stopped supporting any events other than one, which was only playable if you had full endgame stuff. The problem with that, aside from the fact that it gutted half the content from the game, was that the game was balanced around the events, so that you needed to play them to be able to get endgame stuff.
