I saw King Harlaus at a marketplace in Praven's siege yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for portraits or anything.

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “feast?” but he kept cutting me off and going “feast? feast? feast?” and pretending to eat in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him burp as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen butter bags in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “My Lord, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be hungry and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bags and started sealing it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to seal them each individually “to prevent any culinary infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she sealed each bag and put them in a bigger bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by burping really loudly.

So If I wanted to reskin equipment/reequip soldier loadouts and dedicate certain shop items to certain clan towns in geko, what programs would I need? I already played around in morghs I think it was with other mods and also have some sorta item editor. Also got TweakMB somewhere on my desktop but don't really remember what that did.

Basically I want to give the mod some sorta Sengoku Basara thing - Date being "the blue ones", Takeda "the red ones", Uesugi "the white ones" etc. Also more pronounced weapon specialities like for instance in TW:Shogun, making the clans more unique even if its not really that historically accurate. I'm sorta proficient with the graphics part but I can't code. Is my idea doable with enough dedication?

In the frozen hell of Hokkaido, we encountered a village of Ezo tribals and the oni they were sheltering. I decided that it was time to show our youkai advisor Momo what side she has taken and to prepare her for leadership of the youkai divisions of the armies I must lead.

Just a ludicrous amount of time building friendships, RtR, honor and armies.

I honestly can't remember how starved or not I usually end up being with combat focused characters but I rather spend my points on riding, weapon mastery, making sure I have vital INT skills on 2, etc. than ironflesh personally. The way I feel about damage in combat is that it's either fairly trivial on a level where ironflesh doesn't help anyway or I've fucked up and gotten into a situation where I shouldn't be and ironflesh wouldn't be enough to save me anyway.

Depends a lot on build. INT builds have so many skill points that there isn't much reason to not throw some points into Iron Flesh. If you are going heavily into Strength you will typically only have 4 skills you can invest in for a while anyways:

Power Strike | Power Draw | Power Throw | Iron Flesh

And as Power Draw and Power Throw may as well be competing skills not getting Iron Flesh is pretty silly here.

Same sort of applies to CHA builds. Going all in on prison management is frequently a waste and many players might decide to ignore trade. Even if they don't they may want to stop at 2 | 5 | 8 and may therefore have some skill points left over.

Against an enemy using infantry and archers, using a two-hander is just as viable. If you position well, the archers won't target you as they will be blocked by their own troops. Once you get close to archers, time to bust out the two hander to kill them even faster. Pure melee is pretty fun, and having 1-hander + 2shields + 2 hander is pretty common. I find myself using the two-hander more often, and only occasionally using the 1-hander just for closing the distance.

Only difference I notice is you get better prizes for being champion (random prize in addition to money), and horse archers get a blunted practice sword instead of the stupid dagger (foot archers still fucked in that regard though). Ok took a quick look at some gameplay. Seems like it has the same problems like darkest dungeon in comparision with xcom; combat/battle field is not complex enough and soldiers don't mean shit and can get replaced easily.
The atmosphere isn't as tense as in DD (battle field a bit more tactical on the other hand).

Apart from that it looks great. Good enough to play it for a few dozen hours at least.
