The only thing that was announced so far was that banner rate ups carry over to the next banner if you fail to get a 5* when the banner expires. So if you're unlucky and don't get a 5* in all of your orb draws, then the subsequent banners will carry over your rates until you do.

I train a ton of different units but my defense team varies. Sometimes I just go really cheesy with Nino (5*), Lyndis, Ephraim and Azura. Other times I'll toss in a few characters I like (such as Clarine and Narcian) because I like the idea of people running into them.

In my defense, Nino was legitimately my favorite character in FE7 and I was hoping to use her from the get go. Her actually being pretty decent is a nice bonus. I thought she'd be shit given that she jobbed so hard in the trailer.

6% gacha with increasing rates is very good. GBF shills will go all day but the guaranteed SSR is $600. 2000 feathers a week, a guaranteed 5 star in 2 months and a bit is quite generous. And you can even "max" pulls so that you no longer get a unit anymore once you've maximized them, letting you get something else. Personally I've have never seen a 5* or 5* equivalant rate that low. While 6% is the highest Ive seen, the next highest (Soccer Spirits) is 5% but also has a much higher rate of gain when it comes to premium currency, leading to more pulls in general. FE:H feels rather stingy with it's premium currency though and that's before the threat of bad IVs. Seriously, they should have been slapped for that idea.

Most units don't need minmaxed ivs as only having a bad bane matters (since loss of attack or spd often prevents ohkos or 2hkos that matter).

In reality its 3.6% chance for a non fucked unit (not including healers, effie, etc which have even higher chances for being useful) and around 1% or a bit higher chance for a perfect above average unit.

Theres also the fact that ivs don't matter since your opponent is just as likely to get screwed over by ivs as you are.
