Use her light combos & get used to hitting deflects.
Dash attacks are fast as fuck too, and she has a vortex where you can guardbreak->heavy->headbutt and then either GB again (if they try to dodge) or sweep (if they try to counter-GB) into a heavy overhead.
The dashback charge is really strong as well, and should be getting stronger once they fix the broken GB cancel for it. As is you can only mixup into overhead light.

She's fun to play if you get used to her- lots of tools, but you've gotta use them all repeatedly to beat someone.

Shield bash is the single strongest offensive move in the game, can be done from any direction dash, free light hit, infinites against walls, and needs to be dodged EXTREMELY early to avoid it at all.

Conqueror is an already defensive character in a defensive meta game, surprised Warden gets bitched about when a decent Conqueror is almost unbeatable

When I bought the game on a spur-of-the-moment decision I went with Orochi cause I wanted to do the samurai thing(since there was no sword+shield knight the fuck) but Kensei was too thick

Orochi makes people mad though so I switched to Conqueror cause it's close to what I wanted anyway but it makes people mad too

Pic very related. In LAN connections (ping is 1ms) there is at least 100ms of lag between the two players. Basically the netcode is just dogshit. No one knows how bad it is online.

Most people can't CGB because for most people by the time they see it happening it actually already happened, so trying to CGB never works.

Top light is fast as all fuck, use it to poke.

Top light acts as a block against other top attacks light and heavy (crushing counterstrike), use it with the same timing as a parry HOWEVER you can't use it against unblockable attacks.

Zone attack is fast as fuck and comes from the right. Stay in top guard and use it to poke.

You can use side heavies to swing you around an enemy pretty nicely if you push left stick in the same direction, you can use it to avoid some attacks and punish. Don't forget you can feint them to bait parries.

When you hit with a light begin the vortex. Shoulder bash or Shoulder bash cancel into a GB for a free side heavy.

I've found Light > Shoulder bash > Side light double Top heavy feint quite nice, since if they fall for it you get a free Crushing Counterstrike.

Essentially you have to keep them guessing if you'll bash or cancel GB, or neither.

There's a post on the game mechanic reddit, basically from a neutral stance this is accurate, everybody can block any direction up to the last moment without issue, but if you switch guard rapidly then the varying animations actually come into to play, making blocking various light attacks harder if you guess wrong and have to correct

There are none because getting servers and having server upkeep all over the world is too expensive, and since people don't buy fighting games in high enough quantity to warrant spending money on servers, no one does it. If you had enough high quality servers all over the globe for a fighting game, it would work as fine as p2p. The issue is cost, it's not cost effective to have those servers so they default to p2p because it's inexpensive.

If you roll out of vortex the warden can que up, and already be in the process of a side heavy by the time you stand up. Depending on if you block right or left while rolling away you will get hit, which will stumble you, and let him begin the vortex again.
