It's funny how the ward heavy anti roach tech from control decks hurts literally everything that depends on storm, except Elf. Aggro Necro, Vampire, and Royal in general will be a lot better now that everyone doesn't need to run 10 fucking wards to lose to roach anyway.

I play Elves with perfect curve, and 0 Goblins and Feenas that still have 3 roaches by 7 and 8, while still managing to dominate board, chip damage, and drop Ancient fucking Elf on 3 every fucking game. An evolved Levi trades incredibly well an can also burst.
The burst potential will be ever so slightly delayed with Piercing Rune costing 2 mana, but I'm not sure that's enough, since it still has tons of face-potential that even heal-Haven would have trouble keeping up with, especially if you also want to have presence on the board.

I just dislike that Daria can out-tempo aggro and out-control control because of Kaleidoscopic glow and Petrification.
Petrification is dirt fucking cheap, and it means you can't even counter it with Seraph

I have found that the decks that did had a much better chance at winning.
Kale is good for tempo (sending back followers) or control (sending back amulets).
Petrification is a 3 mana hard removal even without the dirtrune.

6 or 12 damage OTK doesn't cut it anymore, and PtP doesn't exist in a world of no viable counters anymore. Every control deck has Bahamut and Odin, and Bahamut not only removes every copy of PtP, it threatens lethal, because PtP Elf can't deal with single targets that big, and even if they can, they lost their wincon. The deck is dead for good.

Well in my book those aren't the reasons why it's dead. It's because the game is too fast now. Ramp Dragon is dropping Saha-Luci combos on turn 5 and Daria has flooded the board and dealt 15 face damage from hand three times by turn 7.

Postponing the game is difficult enough for Seraph and DShift, who have very good removal and instant kill, but is just too far-fetched for Forest, especially since you need to rack up 30 shadows in the meantime, which is a lot harder than dropping a Seraph or a DShift.

Killing an opponent who is at 6 HP already with 6 HP worth of damage is not an OTK. Killing someone who is at 1 HP with an Ambling Wraith fanfare is not an OTK.
While, yes, if you take the term literally, they were killed "in one turn", the actual term OTK in the context of card games is SPECIFICALLY something that kills your opponent 100-0 in one turn, or ends the game using an alternative win condition.
