I actually had a response from ZOS about that. Fabricants DO exist, but Sotha Sil collects dwemer oddities and other artifacts, something we had him do in SSE. Hence why there's unique dwemer stuff in the trial, it's specifically his collection that's gotten loose.

Stealth isn't used in group PvE content. You can play stealth in solo or in PvP content all you like. It's also very useful for the TG and DB quests.

DW swords + lightning/inferno staff is doable for magicka DPS.

Magicka Khajiit is not ideal because none of the passives do anything for magicka builds except maybe for stealth in PvP. Vet dungeons are still doable I'd say.

I wouldn't use any DW skills for damage on a magicka class, they just won't do anything while costing all your stamina.

You could just go stam khajiit, and use magic for utility rather than damage. In that case stamblade is good. In fact if stealth is your focus then you should pick nightblade regardless because that is the class with the cloak skill.

Why is it that this game seems so much more, I dunno, what I expected to get when I torrented skyrim almost a decade ago?

I'm not going to lie here, I am one of those faggots who only understands tes through the lens of skyrim, but when I originally got it, I thought it would be more like this game than what I got. Not to mention the fact I don't have to worry about the quirks of the last two iterations of the game works engine, I like to be able to play games without capped fps, weird player movement, and shitty mouse input.

I really need to go back and play the older games, a friend of mine was telling me some of the differences between morrowind and skyrim's approach to leveling. It definitely seems like something I'd enjoy more.

Well, keep your DoT's up, even on single target enemies (volley, poison injection, that dual wield DoT bleed that I can never remember) etc. Even with stam, you can still use a path of darkness for a bit more damage, and keep funnel health up. Besides that, heavy attacks to keep your stam up, then when they get to 25% health go crazy with your execute.

Stam classes took a hit in the last patch on single target damage, while magic was buffed, again. Person in my guild with top tier minmaxed weapons lost around 5k DPS on trial content, and now is an alternate in their trial group because they are no longer ideal meta. But don't get discouraged, they still have plenty of DPS, its just autism at work.

Forgot to mention, poison injection during the execute phase is really important, since it will do extra damage when the targets health gets low. Against bosses, like dungeon bosses, this combined with your execute will do heaps of damage.

Is it just increasing your magicka through leveling up and gear to increase all magicka damage and attacks with staves?

Would it even be possible then to make a spell sword? Because then you'd have to split your damage between magicka to make your spells hurt - and then stamina to make your sword whacks do anything.

In dungeons mobs have quite a bit of health, as theyre geared to having all 4 players attacking them. While tanking your major priority is going to be resource management and buffing/debuffing depending on your class. Damage is a secondary effect to those things.

If you use two swords, you increase your spell damage, final damage and your HoT when you switch to your offensive bar. You can use Siphon on the boss instead ele drain to help your group (if they need it on trash, kick them). BUT, if none of your magdps is running with a lightning staff, is better switch your dual wield to lightning staff with charged trait to proc Minor Vulnerability. And you can use Destructive Clench to stun the trash and avoid some damage to your group.

Is the same discussion about dps or healer reviving. Most dps stop to deal damage when everything is fine to rez the other dps and let the healer over healing or dealing his low damage. If the healer is a templar running Kagrenac, he can rez quickly, at full health and increase magicka recovery of his team mate with Infusion perk.

The Brotherhood is a splinter group of the Morag Tong, who worship Mephala, who's sphere includes murder and secret plots and loves schemes inside schemes inside schemes and people caught in her webs often never realize they are. And when you visit a ruined DB sanctuary in the DLC.. it's filled with spiders, Mephala's critter. Further, the statue of "Sithis" has eight limbs, a spider.

And in the argonian DLC dungeon the Cradle of Shadows, you deal with a rogue Mephala cult pulling assassins from both the Tong and Brotherhood, supervised by a daedra in her service.

The Brotherhood can push it's cult all it likes, if they feel like deluding themselves and thinking they work at the behest of something greater (even if it's literally a physical force akin to gravity), but in the end they're all just puppets dancing on the strings.

The Tong are at least honest about it.

2H on my back bar with all of my buffs, SnB on my main hand with my main abilities. For soloing I took the morph of stone fist that heals me when I hit an enemy, and ransack is cheap enough to spam when enemies get low. Between that and making sure I bash/block every chance I can and follow up with a heavy attack to knock the enemy down, even public dungeons weren't that tough. For big groups, dropped my standard and turtled while everyone burned to death, dragging enemies back with chains if they tried to run away, using choking talons to cast minor maim on everything and lock it down inside my AoE.
