So far I have Haven, Shadow, and forest sleeves. Luckily unranked is full of shit decks and lose to my shitty decks. I'm in no rush get these sleeves so I'm content with this for now. Not sure why some people are struggling with this, this is a really easy event to deal with. If it was ranked though I don't think I would even fucking bother. I've been trying out Rose Queens with Wolves in unranked for a while now and it just seems worse than a Silverbolt deck. If you draw the Queen instead of the Wolf, then you're going to have to was a whole turn before you can use the thorn bursts. Not to mention you have to save up fairies specifically, instead of just having cards in general like Silverbolt.

The free wins ride is basically over, but I don't think taking one drops out is the answer. Your early game is going to be Fairy Circle into Ancient Elf or bust if that's the case, seems really bad. Tempo existed in DE without a way to fetch roaches, so I'm sure it'll just take some experimentation to find the right build again.

Control Blood has to make risky plays to even come close to winning matchup. If you didn't get the roach via Gobu it's a fair play since he needs to find her taunts to survive early game anyway.

You have to realize that matchup is basically as bad if not worse than DShift for Control Blood, there's a reason they have 40% winrate on ladder.

Again, seems you didn't read my post. It also seems that you don't know anything about fighting games either, since making guesses of what your opponent will do next is an important part of the game there too.

My complaint isn't that it's random, it's that it's unguessable. Poker is random, but the same cards are in the deck every time. You have no guarantee which of the many outs your opponent could have, and when one beats you and one doesn't, it's just guesswork.

Shadowverse definitely has an issue where every fucking deck in the game is based around burst damage from hand and you're never safe even at half life so it's impossible to stabilize but that's another story.

You can still deal with Bahamut because it's just a goddamn follower you can destroy, but banish effects are virtually non-existent so shit like that just loses you the game automatically when it hits the board.

What site do people use to get decklists? It seems like all the people at the highest ranks use specific lists when it comes to deck archetypes, but I'm not sure where they get them from. Game.ai's lists are always trash and never actually reflective of the deck they are talking about (they'll see X is top tier and then post a decklist that's awful and no one ever uses when they run X)

Does anyone else think the thing that is holding Control Blood back has always been Aggro Blood? Control Blood can't have good cards prior to around six or so cost because they know Aggro Blood players will just run it.

Look at Veight. This card is trash. It does nothing. It will lose in every control or midrange matchup because it dies to some 1pp removal and almost every other removal in the game. Had it been Last Word: Summon a Bat then it would be strong, but then Aggro Blood would make it insanely strong. Same with if it kept the Clash effect but had been a 2/3 like any actually reasonable ward.

Blood needs more cards that have special abilities or reduced cost or whatever based on if you have less defense than your opponent or based on how much damage you've taken, but both of these would also just be used by Aggro who would add even more self damage burst to more quickly access it.

It's frustrating because I think both sides of Blood are legitimate and deserve to exist, but they go against each other constantly and hinder the development of the class as a whole. inevitable.

It somewhat reminds me about Piercing Rune. This card and Levi exist because Rune doesn't have good removal. It just has a ton of expensive removal that will never help you against midrange or aggro. Due to this, when they wanted to create a follower heavy Rune deck they needed a strong removal card. Thanks to that, now Earth has a reliable non sigil removal. Dshift gets more reliable removal too. But because Daria is so strong, now Rune will never get something like that again. Earth, Dshift, and Daria can never coexist from here on out.

The devs are always going to struggle with this.

No, they're just not making enough good control tools for Blood. You can make cheap defensive cards that don't help aggro.
Look at a card like Temple Defender or Snake Priestess in Haven. Both of those are solid early game options against aggressive decks and even helpful late game as last-ditch wards, but they are fucking dogshit for aggressive decks.
Really Control Blood sucks because its mechanic is hurting itself in a game where every fucking deck can and will deal 10+ damage in burst from hand. Control Blood was actually top tier in Shadowverse's infancy when the meta was more midrangey. It has nothing to do with aggro blood and everything to do with the dev's hard on for burst damage and combo.

That's just flat out wrong. Wind blast is one of the best removal spells in the game, and fiery embrace and fire chain are no joke either. Dirt Rune also has some fucking phenomenal removal in Petrification and Calamitous. They specifically made piercing rune for the insanely pushed tempo rune archetype, which is why it also hits face, and they made Levi so DShift could stand a better chance against aggro.
