>Negative multipliers are affected by: amount of environmental damage inflicted onto an enemy as a function of total damage you inflicted on them (50% penalty), popping revenge 1v1 (2v2 mode only) and interrupting executes.
*Negative multipliers aren't very substantial but they still exist to lightly dissuade people from just cheesing all game
>Point statistics are recorded on a person's profile and points themselves affect loot
Example

>Kensei kills Warden 1v1 with 80% health left
>Kensei receives a flat 100 points plus an additional 40 (.5*80%) points for his remaining health

Joined a losing match and 1v1'd my guy, and then saw my entire team had been executed.

Ended up getting GB'n like three times near a ledge, but they kept flubbing the kill. Then one of them threw me into their team mate, knocking them off a cliff. Even have one 'zerker try to bait me under a bridge so his friend could plunge me.

Basically, the whole enemy team self destructed trying to style me. It was fun, I have a video around here somewhere if anyone is interested.

The "frames" in that video are 1/30th of a second, as they're capturing from a console in Poor-O-Vision. So 6-7 frames in this case means 200-233ms.

That's about right for a twitch reaction with no input latency and without having to spend any time interpreting the attack. Since we do have some input latency, and we do need to choose from several options, you wouldn't stand a chance of picking the right direction for a 7 frame attack in FH.

Also, the netcode seems to favor the defender since you can hit someone and watch them block it after they die on your screen, so lag shouldn't affect the amount of time the defender has to react. How do parry frames work? Does the delay just come from needing to switch stances? Is there anything other than human reaction speed/technical issues if you're already in the right stance?

why can't I FUCKING counter guardbreak. Even if i'm completely expecting it, whether or not I actually get a counter seems completely random, its so fucking inconsistent. Every damn duel i've been in I just keep giving away free damage because they just guardbreak in neutral out of nowhere and I can't pull off the counter somehow. Even when i have my back to a ledge and it's completely fucking obvious they're going to try and throw me, 75% of the time I juet get fucked.
Back in the betas i had no trouble with this, and now suddenly i cant to shit against it. Espeically against PKs. They get all 3 stabs on me usually, even if I mash the fuck out of it.

The decision of whether a block, dodge or parry was done in time is entirely on the defender's end and network latency doesn't matter. That still doesn't mean your controls are perfectly responsive on your own client, and there's any built in stance switch delays as well although I've seen no reliable info on those yet. The parry is triggered during the startup frames of the heavy attack, so it has to be done before the attack hits you and this gives you less time to react, ignoring the timing requirement.

Why can I never win in this game /fhg/? Even if I win the match, in my heart I still lost.

I just joined an elim and the enemy team started blowing up about how "OH NO A REP 5 LEDGEBRINGER" and so I avoided ledges, and we were on high fort so it was a challenge I tell you what.

Anyways we tie up 2-2, they zerker bodies me once cuz all he does is feint dash dash guardbreak and I caught me so offguard I dropped my spaghetti, esp since any attack I attempted to make was just tech'd out of or a dash + light for him.

Anyways, in the final round kensei got a big head at C and I parried her unblockable and chucked her into the spikes, cuz fuck that shit. Ran over, helped kill a warden. Other enemy warden comes at me, I stop her from rezzing, she dodges 4 times to the right, backs herself into the corner by the default Defender spawn. There's a door there. With a spike wall on it. I hit her with 2 heavies, she dodges back and uses second wind. I shove her into the spike wall.

Only the zerk is left, its 2v1 me and a nobu against him. He tries to camp the speed buff by the tower, I stop it, I unlock and run up to him, guardbreak, throw him off the cliff.

Post match lobby is full of "WOW WHAT A FUCKING SURPRISE ALL HE DID WAS ENVIROMENTAL KILLS GG FUCKING LEDGEBRINGER CANT PLAY AT ALL FUCKING SUCKS"

Earlier in the rounds I had bodied both the kensei and one of the wardens by just parry light harass and a shove gb side heavy.

It just hurts my soul. I don't claim to be the best fucking player, no way I am, but if I win all I get is complaints from enemies and even my own teammates. The other night a warden and his buddy (same name and emblem) were litrally using the in-game voip to time out their heavies to fucking stumble me off a cliff to teamkill me, and later in the match when we were breaking both used catapults one after another to teamkill me.

Just because I'm rep 5 LB with 108 gs.
