hey /dng/ anyone here experiment with eidolon shaddolls?

shaddolls have always been a favorite deck of mine and i just had this quick idea to throw this deck together.note that its not perfect, as i havent had much of a chance to play much.

anyone see any obvious choices i should be adding? i went with speedroids because i really wanted the option to go into the WIND eidolon fusion, and speedroids are great regardless.

Everything, kill their scales and they have to waste another resource to reset them. Bottomless trap hole fucks with them good and dandy too. Finally, now that they can only bring back 1 pendulum monster fro m the extra deck, they're trash completely and of course, their backrow is limited to 3 spots now. Just like synchro, pendulum takes too much set up for too little pay off, especially now. You aren't gonna be seeing those in the meta or even casual play anymore because, surprise, people actually like winning duels every now and again.

Pendulums are kinda weird IMO.
If you can't destroy the scales they have unbeatable value but at the same time if you can pop thier scales you just straight up win.
We've had shit like PePe and full power Qli's shitting on the game.
Issue with pends is the mechnics is either underpowered or overpowered based on the support it gets, no inbetween. I don't think Pends deserved to get murdered that hard but at the same time Pends would've been broken with Links.
I think it was a bit of a pre-emptive hit rather than nerfing the mechnic for what it is right now.

Pendulums got shit because they limit card design. Their inherent ability to infinite recursion is what raised the power level of the card design during DUEA to absurd levels. It's why we got shit like BA that floats on anything or the increase in number of S/T's with grave effects. Only by being floatier and stronger would normal cards be able to keep up with Pend's recursion.

Okay the above is reaching, Konami probably didn't think that hard. They probably only hit Pends because they would have been able to give Links recurring fodder (assuming it works like Synchro).

The jump on power levels
Everything had to float or have graveyard effects, even used up Spell cards, to keep up with Pend recursion.
Everything had to spam even harder to keep up with Pend's ability to easily summon multiple monsters at once.
Then over the time, Pends gained the ability to just add cards to hand for scales and shit, and normal cards followed suit.

The value of your cards may go up significantly with the combos, but it's not as if you go plus and plus.

That's not really how card advantage works. You're giving up cards that required other cards to make them for a card that just has a higher number to it. More links means that they can benefit your opponent as well anyway. And besides, not every Link monster you control will fill out the requirements of the next one up.
