Thanks, I didn't know big wave was that useful. I replaced the sharks as you suggested and realized that kaiser gets the umi buff because it's dependent on the type not attribute. (literally only opened neo impact packs so far) I just wanted mirror wall and hoped to not have to buy the whole box to get it, then to move on to opening ultimate rising. But no, of course not, I have such shit luck.

Also, I wish they could do away with colored keys and make it so we just have to use regular keys, but keep the costs the same, and maybe add half the colored key cost to the regular key cost to compensate, but still be a bit cheaper and less ridiculous. (so if it's 100 regular keys + 50 green keys currently, it'd then be just 125 regular keys instead and no more colored key cost) cause this shit is annoying.

I'd also wish I could keep grinding without being restricted by insane cooldowns and shit and not have to pay to keep grinding (don't face money for it).

Why can't they not restrict you in these ways, and then to compensate maybe sell card sleeves and mats and other cosmetics (other than just the holiday ones currently) like other f2p games sell cosmetic items? As well as maybe alternative / special character skins and stuff like that?

Then, boosters (like for exp) wouldn't really be kinda mandatory like how it feels (I know that's not exactly the case, but 4+hrs for all duelist to re-appear? damn), instead simply be if you want to progress faster. There should be a constant way to grind for exp without any restrictions.

Would I be able to beat / farm lvl 40 ishizu w/ this deck? I don't have any javelins or wonder balloons to use against her cause I don't have gems to spend on ultimate rising cause I spent all the ones I had atm on neo impact trying to get mirror wall, but now I realize that it's taking so long to lvl up characters to get gems and it sucks I spent all those gems and didn't get what I needed yet and ultimate rising is leaving next month and I don't think I'll have time to get enough gems before then, but I don't wanna have to restart again cause I may not be able to farm ishizu; I hope what I have will still work.

I'm running on my magic deck and I replaced one of the Dark Magicians with her, works pretty well

If you have quick play spells like twister or enemy controller, you could use that, but she has 3 assailants and both those cards are pretty card to come by.

Okay, I'm ready to admit I have no idea what I'm doing in this game and need some pointers. I'm at Stage 24, started with Kaiba, have him at Level 25, haven't really used anybody else much. I've bought a shitload of Neo Impact and none of any other packs, which I'm starting to feel was probably a mistake.

Right now I'm just doing Element Dragon/Gray Wing spam which is winning me most duels (Thousand Dragon reeeee), but the rewards are pathetic and I'm not sure how to build a deck to maximize them. Should I start over? What's the best way to do this?

To add to the normal deck discussion please keep in mind all Gemini monsters are considered NORMAL so Grasschopper is strictly the best tribute summon for normals, on top of having an absurd ability.

Also worth considering at some point just switching to Mako and using his ability to direct attack if you want to go with something more unique (not his auto-Umi ability). Sadly until a character gains the ability to start with Sogen/Forest these are all meme decks that are worse than Dino which is itself a normal deck already.

Anyways, here's what I recommend. Ultimate Rising for sure. There are a lot of cards in there that are staples and they will stop selling those packs at the end of March. Age of Discovery will also be removed at the end of March but it's very focused on water theme so prioritize ultimate UR and then AoD for best value. In terms of creature power levels, Neo-Inpact and Flame of The Tyrant have the best ones. However, they aren't getting removed anytime soon so get the essential spells/traps from the first two boosters before focusing on them. If you get a good UR card early on, reset the box for a chance to get another copy since there is only 1 UR card per box.

Ideally for Cerb decks you want 2 Cerbs and 1 Riryoku and then just add spells up to 20, preferably with as many glossy as you can put in
More advanced ones will have ways to manipulate your life points to try and end up with 100 as well

You can get by with only 1 Cerb and no Riryoku but you won't be able to get the over 9999 atk bonus so you'll be looking at 5-6 prizes rather than 7-8
