I just started Online, I've played single player a lot.
is everybody a fucking loser? I'm circling my gay ass plane for 10 minutes avoiding jet fire while a helicopter tries to take out 7 jets. then as I get the goahead to land, ground team dies. no points, no money, just a waste of goddamn time. at least when I lose a race I get 1K

Okay, just to clarify, after March 6th you'll still be able to transfer your character from PS4/Xbone to PC, right? Because if I'm reading this right it seems they're only shutting down transfers for last gen while current gen will be left untouched.

And relatedly, I appreciate that, if shark cards are going to be in the game, that they're as expensive as they are. I mean, I've never bought one, but I probably would have if they were cheaper, and I think that's the case for a lot of people. I think a lot more people would buy shark cards if they were either cheaper, or had better in game value.

Finally tried the import export thing, pretty gud to earn almost 1,500k with it. The new office garage and the Warstock vehicles are horribly expensive though. Is Rockstar expecting us to buy 10 shark cards per month ? Why not going for monthly subscription then?

Speaking of getting banned, I keep getting conflicting answers on whether or not I'll get banned for receiving money from hackers. I've been avoiding it as much as I can just out of caution, but can anyone give me a decent answer?

GTASeriesVideos is a fantastic GTA-based channel, maybe even the best one of them all, but they have the most cancerous comment sections I've ever seen in my entire life.

It happened to me twice when enemies spawned and my framerate decided to freeze for a millisecond, that caused a "desync" and made my ETR1 and Omnis unhook and take 10-20K in damage.

So, I've been asked to write a post about why I should be let back into the crew.

First off, I would like to apologize for anyone I have upset through the act of crewkilling, in particular, -Nessi. My actions were wrong, and I only realise now after having some time to think how those actions affected other people's gameplay. While other's just wanted to play the game, I thought at the time it'd be funny to try and obstruct that, for my own twisted entertainment. When you're in a guild, clan, crew, group, whatever you want to call it, with others, you don't expect people to stab you in the back.

In this case, I've done exactly that, and while I can't reverse those actions, I can say that I'm sorry for them. From here onwards, I can guarantee that sort of behaviour is behind me, and with that, I leave behind any negativity surrounding the incidents, and look at this as a clean slate.
I also acknowledge that if such behaviour arises in the future, or any complaints that fabricate regarding me (with proof, obviously) that I'm out of the crew for good, period.
Once again, I'd like to reiterate, if I've upset you in the past, for whatever reason, be it rudeness or crewkilling, I'm sorry.

I realise this may seem ridiculous for a videogame, but I feel it needed to be said. I'm putting it behind me with this post, and I'm hoping the rest of the crew can too. Big positive vibes, senpai.

If you mean the kind where they're doing amateur racing, yeah you'll have to shoot the driver but no one will be chasing you so you should do a maximum of ~$500 damage to your car

If you mean the one where the cops and you chase the same guy you can get away with low repairs by sniping the driver from far away before he even starts moving (the window will sometimes not even get damaged because it wasn't rendered for you) and calling lester as soon as you clear out some cops and call lester

If you mean the ones that just drive around peacefully, just wait for them to get caught up in regular traffic and and pull them out. They'll stop for regular cars and red lights but not if you just park your car in front of them

The NPCs can shoot the car off for some reason, I've had it happen to me too. When it does happen, that specific effect at 00:01 seconds into the webm that effect always appear. That alongside the insanely broken NPC traffic and hostile NPC cars shooting at you outside your warehouse before you can even delivery your cars makes it all too suspicious. Gotta milk all those possible Shark Cards sales before RDR2 hits.

I should have clarified that the bug does happen randomly in general, but like I said the NPCs in general do also have the bullshit ability to snipe the latch off your car, even from a moving car 500ft below you with a SMG. When I was picking up a car from near Chiliad, it was constantly getting dropped because I just tried to outrun the NPCs and they kept shooting me. In another mission when I took out all the NPCs first, everything was fine. Rockstar just doesn't want people making too much money.

I had a bit of a deeper thought about Rockstar's weird decision of stopping transfer, and I think I figured out the reason behind it.

There are sales on digital and physical copies of GTA V and shark cards across all next-gen platforms. Some people think it's something normal for a company to do, but here's the deal on why it relates to the character transfer drop.

Back when Rockstar announced that they'll drop transfers from old-gen to current-gen, people assumed it will be some kind of lazy solution to deal with modded accounts instead of adding proper filters to ranks and banked money. They're kinda right, but it's also a way to rush the people who are still playing old gen to buy new copies of the game so they don't miss out on the newer updates exclusive to the Definitive Edition of GTA V's Online. Hell, this also applies to people currently playing on PS4/Xbone who didn't buy the PC copies yet, character transfer from current gen to PC is getting dropped as well for a very grubby reason.

Think about it. The 30% off sales? Jumping-the-shark and cutting off character transfer on ALL platforms? The exclusive offers made to old genners with $100K rewards if they transfer? Just connect the dots. Rockstar wanted to rush copy sales in the most extreme way imaginable, they wanted more players play GTAO on current gen so they can have higher sales of shark cards and copy sales for extra money. The character transfer drop was the trigger, the 30% off is the bait.

tl;dr Rockstar is practicing advanced marketing tactics in the most Jewish way possible by indirectly threatening to leave players behind if they don't buy one more copy of the game, and for extra incentive, they're discounting a game they already gained over $2.3 billion from just to get some extra shekels in their pockets in the shortest time frame possible.

be honest, have you ever tried to grind vip work? it sounds like you haven't. the jobs can be stringed together if you set them up correctly (i.e. hostile takeover + headhunter + crate) and you can easily get ~$35k within ~8 minutes even without a buzzard (although they spawn all over the place so idk just look for one)

Purge happened around Thanksgiving and got rid of most of the baggage that never plays anymore.

Also a holiday ban wave caught a ton of our most notorious GTAG celebrities, many of which abandoned the game or made alt accounts.
