If your ninja is outdamaging them in perfect runs where nobody dies, or even worse, outdamaging them when he dies but they don't, you need to talk with your other melee and see what they are doing wrong. If they get uppity or claim they're doing everything correctly and won't change, kick them.

If you can't kick them for whatever reason, for example I have a green median melee in my group who's cousins with our high purple median warrior and they've always played together, so we can't kick one without getting rid of the other, well you'll just have to make due with it.

There's hundreds of catered parses that you are competing with and to get a good percentile you need a competent static that can kill in a reasonably fast time and an AST to give balances.

Mining is probably the best one for making money, botany is mostly useful for making food and potions (which you can make a lot of money with but you need 3/4 star stats). 50-60 grind isn't that bad but it's not fun either.

In order to take advantage of the new stuff when it comes out you will probably need properly melded ironworks gear.

Getting the gear made will probably cost just a few hundred thousand gil. Probably 400-600ish for the entire thing. That's assuming you get every single component made and don't buy things like ingots (or eikon leather, etc) off the mb. It will be even cheaper if you can do moogle quests for glass fibers. Melding it properly will probably cost more than whatever gil you have leftover after getting it made. Maybe you'll get really lucky and can meld everything for 500k or a mil, but I'd plan on spending more.

For real though, I have nothing against the French. I shared a house with three Frenchmen for two and a half years while I was working in Ireland(long story), and they were absolutely lovely, total gentlemen.

Problem with that is thats when the large orbs are usually also bouncing around chasing their targets. During the fight one of the dps ran in front of the larger orb target popping it close enough to them that it bounced them back into the large orb to death.

Its kind of a funny mechanic for the fight really. Cause it shows how trained people are to auto pilot popping the orbs cause how many times its been a thing in other fights.

Really the worst of the worst on that fight are the ranged DPS that cant be assed to move 5 feet into one of the meteor circles. I can understand a BLM with the leylines thingie up not moving i suppose. But for any other ranged its just fucking lazy.
