No, why would he? He's an unlockable bonus for completing Season of Revelation, just like Boris is for Call of the Beastmen, and Sarthorael is unlocked for the grand campaign. It would be nice to have them as options for the grand campaign but they may as well add new lords for Mousillon (Kemmler, Mallobad) and Middenheim (Valgeir) that everyone can have while the unlockable characters stay unlockable.

Guys I am fuckawful at total war battles. I've dabbled since Medieval 1 and have never been able to do particularly well.

I've been attempting an orc campaign, but I rarely do better than the auto-resolve unless I have 75% of the forces bar or more.

Where's a good place to learn? I have so many little questions about unit placement/movement and I can't find a video that covers them on youtube.

They're not as fleshed out as the Empire provinces, but they've got some variety.
Corroune is pretty solid all round since it's the King's main province. Montfort isn't a faction in game but lore wise it's pretty unique, since they're mountainous and heavily fortified in an otherwise pretty flat nation. Each subfaction had a first Grail Knight, Montfort's is unique because he'd regularly fight on foot with his infantry.

No, the knightly vows are the vows one makes when advancing as a Knight. The Knights vow is the one made when you become a Knight of the Realm from earning your spurs as a Knight Errant, then you make the Questing Vow(If you so desire, most Knights just stay as Knights of the Realm) and then you make the Grail Vow if you succeed as a Questing Knight in your quest for the Holy Grail. Pegasus Knights are getting anti-large with this patch and that also carries over to Royal Pegasus Knights.

They should also come in the same numbers, so it's a straight upgrade. Getting a heroic victory though would make them the same. Winning a heroic victory gets your entire army the Blessing of the Lady which sounds hilarious for peasants who get 20% physical resistance, magical damage on an entire army, and no one will get tired.

Any Lord and his attendant army who achieve a Heroic Victory in battle will receive The Blessing of The Lady, and will thenceforth receive a Ward Save for future battles.
