Can confirm. I'm currently testing against the AIs to play without links and only using 1 ED monster per time.

By shifting the focus on the deck to summon Zarc, I actually managed to get through it. But it's being hard, considering I only have 1 ED zone and the AI has as many as it wants AND forbidden cards.

Thankfully, revived ED monsters go anywhere, so Absolute is being godsent

I like that pendulums are in the spell trap card zone but i think if they limited amount of pendulums in extra deck only and made it so you could only XYZ once per turn that would fix a bunch of shit from what i remember.

I don't know what's msot surprising: the fact we will get the orica magicians here just for them to die, or the fact the build that uses performapals in place of them are actually better than them due to Iris ruling in addition to Links!

Seriously, I have been testing this shit. The performapal build can at least make something turn 1, like Rafflesia or Vortex Dragon, while the oricas don't have the same consistency for that or have to actually wait a single turn for it.

Then comes the issues of testing with links in mind: since POEM tends to only make use of 1 powerful ED monster, they can fare off better than the Neo New Magicians that need the maximun of what they can get out of pendulum summoning due to self-destruction effects

Like, imagine he has a bunch of monsters, but you killed off his ED mosnter. If you summon at the specific zone you choose, he will only be able to summon in the other. And if he is planning to do links, he is gonna be forced to use the monsters in the zone the link will point to otherwise it would be useless or something. I just make Janky utlra consistent Synchro decks that work similar to Nekroz with having 2 effects. One that triggers from the hand by Discarding/One that triggers on the field by banishing a card. And 1 that triggeres when the card itself is banished by another card effect.
Like an example would be "During either players turn you can discard this card, Banish 1 "archtypename" monster from yoru grave, then Draw a card, if this card is banished: Draw a card.
