She can do CQC, she can do top tier magic that can damage right through magic resistance rank A, she can do curses, she can do transformation, among casters she has a strong skill set and ancient magic. For a caster she's good, someone who has beaten a saber before.

But could potentially die in one hit as well against a front line servant. She has to plan and keep ahead a lot in battle because the potential to lose is certainly there.

She's said to be pretty weak in Extra. The example given was something like how she's got 9% of the power of an A-rank servant. I don't really know what that means, it's basically just saying she's got 9% of something, but I get that it's saying she's nowhere near the top layer.

She's also got some strong skills, but she refrains from using them. She could potentially increase her power by gaining more tails, but the set of circumstances that need to line up for that to be feasible make it sort of a moot point. It's like arguing that Artoria is always the best defender because there's an astronomically remote chance of her getting her hands on Avalon in some very specific situations.

Getting lewds is also easier on twitter once you get past the lack of a R18 filter. On pixiv, if an artist wanted any sort of privacy on a work they required you to be added to a list. With privatter they can still require a list, or more commonly, require you to just be a follower/logged in.

Tamamo is top tier but there are more than 3 nerfs that she will always most likely have.
One, Amaterasu doesn't give her enough authority to use her EX rank country-wide Anti-World land of the dead Noble Phantasm, so it's just a D rank NP that gives her infinite mana.
Two, Tamamo herself restricts her skill usage due to personality or trauma. The only skill she uses is Witchcraft EX, which is amazing on its own, piercing Magic Resistance on the level of Arturia, but she also has amazing skills left unused. Her Shapeshift A is the second highest in the entire franchise, second only to Nursery Rhyme. She would perform better than some Assassins in stealth missions because of this (see Fake Berserker). She also doesn't use Territory Creation which is a Caster's main method of getting prep time. Assuming she gets Wedding of a Fox outside of F/GO, then she also has a Cheat-Skill tier Item Construction that blesses weapons with the power of the sun at EX rank level. Only Paracelsus and Edison have EX Item Construction, but Wedding of a Fox might not work *exactly* like Item Construction so who knows.

Both have lolis, while GBF clearly shows more friendliness to PC and English users. Might be my TM loyalty and the fact that Fate tends to portrayal semi-historical characters more accurately than GBF. After experiencing Fate's Amakusa, seeing the GBF version (which is the Samurai Shodown version) as a one-dimensional villain is just weird.

This is probably how Romanians raised on stories of the hero Vlad III must feel when first seeing Count Dracula, especially "classic" portrayals, such as in Bram Stoker's novel, main universe Castlevania, and its derivatives (still hate Dracula 2000 and The Historian). Then again, Fate's thing is semi-historical characters, while that was never GBF's strong suit. Also, might be because F/GO tends to have more legal lolis than GBF, save for the Harvins, of course. Some of the harvins tend to be a bit too small, even for my tastes. I much prefer the body types of Shuten, Ibaraki, Helena, etc. certainly Shuten's personality.
