Is there any chance for me, support main, to get out of bronze? My lane always wins, I mean always, when we destroy their turret my ADC is usually 3/0 or more depending on how many times their jungler babysat. I said fuck it, did my preliminary matches and got instantly thrown to bronze 5. After a few matches I got into bronze 3 placements but I got matched with retards. How can I carry harder than helping my ADC get fed?

I don't know what else to d, last season I mained jungler but I got bored of that role because my main got nerfed to the ground.

Sion

Good character with outstanding voice acting and great themes and design. His kit is simple as a wedge, but is still very satisfying to use. Just go in there, fuck everyone up, and walk out like nobody's business. He's also very flexible; viable as a squishy buster lane bully motherfucker with E max, mixed penetration and thunderlords, but also as a cc locking indestructible tank and a support. There's very few words to express the pure satisfaction of a long-range sion ult landed on two or more squishies. No wonder he has such a large fanbase here on /lolg/, the guy is just pure fun to play. I picked sion up before his rework, and then i just felt like the hp stacking mechanic was cool and shit, but something was missing. The rework gave me that something. The new sion is perfection itself, possibly one of the best champion designs riot has ever made.

Darius

Not a very exciting guy character-wise, and he isn't that kind of easily-counterable-while-still-being-challenging-to-play-against champion, but that's what i love about him. If sion is destroying the enemy with pure power, darius is adding a level of psychological warfare to that. Completely opressing your lane opponent all the time, possibly winning 2v1's, just using every single little mistake against the enemy, denying cs from the enemy laner, getting five stacks and winning a skirmish/teamfight alone or while being outnumbered, all of these thigs are disgustingly tilting. Also when you get used to darius, the champion starts to play itself. Like clockwork: E-auto-w-auto-q-auto five stacks trade is over. It's that simple. When you reach the level of darius mastery when you can apply stacks in the fastest way possible and hit all of your q's except once or twice, that's when the champion starts to get very rewarding. This season i had a very shit winrate, but when i picked up darius, i just blew through the ranks like a rocketship.

Play a support that builds into a semi-carry. Brand, vel'koz, Malz. You can still be a typical support early with SS, proper warding, and setting up kills for your team. Since bronze games tend to drag on for 45+ minutes since they never know how to end, you'll be able to get items and be able to help carry. Its hard to carry low elo as a support cause you are surrounded by retards that don't know how to follow up with a solid Alistar engage.

Azir is and always has.

Azir is easily one of the most controversial champions on /lolg/ and League of Legends and I've heard every argument from he's based to he needs to be deleted. Honestly I fucking love everything about this champion, he's everything I'd ask for from a scaling hyper carry with the experience of feeling like commanding forces on a battlefield. He has a killer design based on birds (which I fucking love), ancient Egyptians are awesome, the actual kit is fun and satisfying to use, literally some of the best fan-art, all skins including his e-sports one are great, killer voice acting, and his lore is really cool and easily one of the best ones in league of legends. His high skill cap is something I like but I know isn't impossible to nail down while being a dumb meme, I love how much control I have when I play him and its a shame that pro-play is why I have to work really hard to make him work (At least he's still playable and can function in the right hands, thank god)

I just want Riot to get their mini-work on him done quickly so I can finally play him without having to hear in chat "Why do you play azir, he's bad" meanwhile I'm 6/0 while they're feeding.

I love this champion and everything about him and I'm standing by him through thick and thin.

Yorick

The thing i love the most about yorick is the depth the champion has. There's so many little things about him that can make him that much more efficient/interesting, it's amazing. (of course i won't tell them, that's my secret, fuck off) If you're good enough, or you're in a favorable matchup, he's insanely effective. Get 4 graves, hit your E, cast awakening, use your wall, they either flash or die. That's the only thing they get to choose. If they don't have flash, they die. No buts, no escapes, they just fucking die. Also you can get easy first turrets with him, and you want to get first turrets, since they are a big fuckin early game boost. Also using your ult in teamfights is pure bliss. Completely blasting through anybody with your shovel, tank or squishy, it doesn't matter, you just bumrush the fuckers and show them the afterlife. In this meta, with all the immobile adc's, yorick's teamfighting just boils down to walling around that cunt adc's and hitting him so hard with your shovel that he disintegrates into pink mist. It's damn satisfying.

Yeah kinda. No clear gapcloser but unlimited ranged slows and cc immunity more than make up for it. Yi ult does nothing in comparison. Olaf doesn't build as much damage though, so he doesn't kill you that fast, but he will be running at you leaving you no choice but to run from him or try to burst him through his fat ass, whereas yi pops quickly as hell and counter-able by any hard cc, so in most cases he won't apply his damage no matter how much of it he has. There is a reason for why there's no yi in proplay since god knows how long - he's fucking useless, zero tank melee damage with no cc, utility and only one gapcloser which was impressive in old league and by todays standard is just objectively shit for what it is.
You can sometimes dodge things with it though and record mad bronze plays to post on youtube later.
His whole kit just bad overall, half of it is statboosts, the other half is this gapcloser and healing. He is useless against competent team, as I said, they won't let you apply your damage. Olaf can at least be a large pain in the ass and create lots of chaos in teamfight, force people out of position, tank them a bit, and occasionally burst someone down.

Most of the time, in an avearage game, you will be able to safely push as you please and even 1v2 the enemy jungler/toplaner if you're good enough.

"You're good enough" meaning that you always hit your E and your wall placement is good. But getting used to that takes time. Both of them feel really clunky at first.

I've played about 230 ranked games this far after hitting lvl 30 and managed to peak at silver 4, but now i'm just spinning my wheels in silver 5. I changed my mind since that, yorick works very well with triforce, and altough you give up a little bit of damage from your ghouls, you get a lot in exchange. Most of the time going trinity is the safer pick, since it gives you some extra stuff that makes the gameplay tighter and more convenient, because of more mana and attack speed ans shit like that.

On a serious note though if I'm seeing some lethality cancer who can get to me no matter how well I position (like zed) getting fed on the enemy team - I'm getting chain vest, it costs nothing and cuts his damage by about 30% depending on his items which is a lot even if he all-ined you, it's the difference between life and death actually, you can blow both flash and heal and still die after zed ult even if he missed his q or w, with vest or GA it's whole other deal, you can even throw ninja tabi into the mix, every point of armor makes his every point of lethality non-existant and is much easier to acquire if you're willing. You gotta think about your team and enemy team, if you're not confident about your survival in crucial moments because of your team incompetence or enemy team competence then take care of your survival yourself, slightly delaying your damage items won't make any difference most of the time, dying at objective easily could cost you the game though.

Not by a lot, greaves aren't THAT important on adc if it's not your only aspeed item.
You had to build vest too. Then flash at the best moment to avoid some damage and gain distance. Some help from teammates perhaps. I mean, any other boots instead of tabis wouldn't make that situation any better for you, you decreased his damage output but not by enough. I mean I don't know shit about that game but tabis were a right choice with champ such as talon present.
I'm maining jhin and if I see a rising ad threat I go tabis without a second thought usually and sometimes vest into GA somewhere like 4-5 item. If there is a situation like that you shouldn't think about how much damage you gonna do, you should think about how you can do any damage at all and not just be blown up should they decide to focus you, and if you're not horribly behind they probably will. Boots+1slot of damage isn't worth it over massively increasing your survival chances at dire moments. Consider the threats, if there's 2 big tanks on the enemy team it's only natural to get last whisper early and maybe finish it too. But same goes for all other cases. You aren't playing best numbers simulator, about half of the time you are going into midgame from behind (as a team) and you should think about how you can stop them from completely rolling you instead of how you can achieve best damage, it's out of the question this game because of how teams formed, you need to react to your environment if you want to win. Subpar damage is better than none. Rightly applied sub-optimal damage is still gonna win the game, staring at death timer won't.

You're fucking deluded to even believe that. The current meta only favors those who can abuse lethality and those who have strong early games. Lategame oriented champs are completely unviable if the game doesn't even get past the 30 minute mark anymore.

Games are literally decided after 10 minutes nowadays with the remaining time only spent on stalling out an inevitable loss while the opposite team keeps snowballing objectives and kills thus building up a gold difference of up to 10k. You can look up the match history of any game out there, it's always the same outcome.

I guess my point is that if I wanted to play Jinx I already do no damage for the first half of the game and if I build ninja tabi that problem just gets worse whereas people like jhin and mf just do a billion damage the whole game and since attack speed is not important on either of them they don't make the same trade off I would have to make on the aa-based adcs to protect themselves and that kinda pisses me off that they get to be really safe and do the most damage in the game on top of having other qualities like really useful cc in jhin's case.
Lethality is not healthy for adc's to build because of that I think.

Top lane changes a man. So many riven mains, so many ignite pantheons, so much fucking cancer. You midlaners wouldn't even believe. Just walk to toplane with no previous experience, you'll be shitting your britches in no time. When i first headed to top lane, i didn't know what i was in for. I was beaten. Badly. Over and over, mastery-flashing ignite yasuo's and cold, non-responding malphite machines. But soon after that, i learned. I learned to use the cruel nature of top lane against my enemies. The distance, the lack of vision, the absence of objectives...
I learned to beat people in a one versus one situation. Easily. It's almost like breathing now. I began with improving my cs. Gold gives you power, and power gives you kills. My food was the enemy laner's flesh, and i quenched my thirst with his blood. His pain and suffering and tiltage was my nourishment. After that, came the enemy jungler. A tricky motherfucker, always appearing out of nowhere, always uncalled, unexpected. Not anymore. Control wards aint cheap, but they can save a man's life, and that's good enough for me. I knew every step of the enemy jungler. I got used to it. The ganking patterns just burn into your subconscious after a while. Soon enough, i managed to do my first 1v2.
That was the point when i knew. I have finally mastered this lane. I was home. It's rough and tough, the path to becoming a toplaner. It's like dragging a sack of shit uphill on an icy road. But it's damn rewarding.

You midlaners will never experience the feeling of decimating a backline with your big toplaner dick, or getting the first turret after 1v2ing the enemy jungler and laner. You will never know the pure joy of tanking 3 people all the time while not giving a single shit, just walking through them like knee-deep water.

No, picking snowball champions is NOT the way that you should play SoloQ. Unless you're extremely well-practiced on them or you are actually several divisions higher than you are (you're not) this is a risky idea that will often lead to you feeding your ass off.

For the love of god some people need to learn how to play safe and look at the map and THINKING about what they're doing instead of going in and trying to outplay their lane opponent 24/7 to get fed.

Uhh what? It's not. And either way graves is extremely versatile and can build full lethality, full crit, mix of the two, or even throw in a couple of tank items if you and/or they don't have a frontline so you have to act like one to not get bursted on sight. It all heavily depends. Graves can build tabis/mercs no probs if he needs some defence. And it's usually better to rush warrior instead of t2 boots, you only really need t1 asap.
