With Ephraim and Eirika on your team, it's absolutely worth it. +Speed Nino gets doubled by basically no one and doubles a shitton of people.

You should already be familiar with her weapon effect and how hysterical it is with Eirika. +10 fucking damage for that turn just for starting next to Eirika. She'll also kill Takumi for you if you need it. Nino without -def or HP can eat one hit from even +attack Takumi with 3HP left and 2HKOs, even without buffs.

So /feg, is it better to save up 20 orbs for a 5 roll or just roll every five orbs and back out if it's not the color you want? I'm going for Ephraim.

It borderline is. I went in with Eirika, Seliph, Lyn, and Roy, all maxed out.

Even with Roy using seal defense, it ended with Roy and Seliph suiciding into the armor, and Lyn on about 6HP left.

The falchion users could possibly do it by getting attacked and then playing keep away till Falchion heals them to full before going for another round.

It'd be a way longer process than it should be, but it'd be doable.

So I hacked my 3ds and downloaded Fates special edition, which supposedly has all 3 routes in one game, and I've been playing for like 30 minutes and am already at chapter 4. Unless I'm wrong, all the other "fast supports" in the game are mostly between family members and retainer/master pairs. Very few characters have one particular support that grows faster than all others, and in Awakening the fast supports all linked up with each other with no contradictions or conflicts.

Same issue with Blazing Sword, in that game support growth rates can't be accurately used to determine canon pairings because many of them conflict with each other when every character is taken into account.

But in Awakening there is literally (LITERALLY) no reason to not use the datamine pairings as canon.
