What physical damage weapons are worth using at 25 STR + 25 SKL? I have a 25/25/50 arcane build and I tried beast claws out; they did pretty impressive damage with the beasthood meter up. Even at zero beasthood the damage per R1 was comparable to my bolt spear (has a cold abyssal and two bolt gems w/ avg +24% bolt UP).

Can I do good damage with the burial blade and three 27% physical gems?

Endurance is one of the weirdest stats because of the design anyway. Weapons use much more stamina for their attacks compared to Dark Souls, so if anything you get maybe 1 or 2 more attacks before running out of stamina. Stamina recovery speed is already super high anyway, so it's literally almost never worth bringing Endurance all the way to 40 unless you're doing a pure skill build with Blade of Mercy or Rakuyo, the only weapons where that extra stamina will actually mean anything significant.

Okay, get ready for the dumbest lore theory since the one I made about the entire game being a massive drug trip.
So, the Snatchers of Yahar'gul die off after the Blood Moon, killed by something or someone. Until then, they're scattered in Yahar'gul and the surrounding area, happily collecting people for their masters/employers. Given their stature and appearance, along with their ability to perform what seems to be magic, we can probably safely assume that they are Pthumerians, and would likely not be working with Mensis if it weren't for Mergo and other factors. So why did they all get killed?
Labor costs.
An occupation such as a snatcher in undoubtedly dangerous and lethal, which would require a good union. The costs from the union would boost the required spending by a massive amount. They would also need proper working accommodations and guaranteed workplace safety. Even further, the pigs and dogs would greatly increase transportation costs of live animals, and would need to be guaranteed their safety and well-being. Since the Pthumerians have such a large stake in Mensis' business, they almost definitely would refuse to cooperate until their workers received proper and fair treatment, possibly needing affirmative action programs over hunters in the area hired as Yahar'gul hunters. When the Blood Moon hits and the ritual is underway, the bill for labor costs came, which was far more than anyone at Mensis could have expected, even with their tremendous insight. They took the easy way out of killing all the workers. And killing all the witnesses in the town. And probably would have sent someone to off the Union Boss Queen Yharnam just to make a clean sweep of things.

It's an okay Strength weapon. Moveset and Appearance is the main difference. Has less range than Cuttah and isn't serrated, plus can't be converted. But the weird moveset can throw people off, charge r2s have follow-ups.

If i were you i would leave bbf until you get super stuck on a boss (Im talking at least 20 tries here) because your first run is about discovery and you dont want it ruined by spoilers and tripfags. if you have a simple question just read the OP

Unless you very deliberately spend it or summon people for absolutely everything, you will never actually run out of Insight. You get Insight from every bossfight.

You can re-run random chalices to just farm Insight, too, if you're ever really, really stuck.

Madman's is limited, but those are just boosts to what you naturally get, they are not your natural source of Insight income.

Not ANY weapon. Definitely not the Kos Parasite, for example. Mostly just quality weapons, Rakuyo and Church Pick included. All they need are Heavy Abyssal gems to increase the STR scaling.
