It gets a bad rap here for some reason, I think some people just got tired of it being posted and are still a bit miffed. But yeah its a fairly worthwhile Fate manga, interesting enough original story that has some interesting parts. Some fanservice, some power levels, and at least one new servant. Out of the Fate manga released so far I'd say this is the one to read, its the only one with an original story. Its a solid enough story.

Course I only said its the prime choice one to read out of Fate manga, if we're talking about all around Type Moon manga in general there's some other top picks to be found. Tsukihime manga is pretty great, AATM is fun, Prisma is good but It feels like its own thing entirely rather than Fate somehow, Take Moon is the inspiration for Carnival Phantasm, and I really wish someone would translate Chibichuki already

Heavens Feel and Fate/Strange are still shaping up at the moment. Hard to gauge.

It's also kind of debatable whether the current event is even a rerun or not. The story quests are taken from the last Valentine's event, and the basic game plan is the same, but the shop is all new (including new reward CEs) and the grind quests were all updated. And the mold mechanic was added. In my eyes it's more comparable to the Nero Festival 2.0 than previous reruns like Halloween and Christmas.

What's the best for attack combo for NP and stars on Musashi, Arts or Quick last? The NP calculator doesn't account for the double hit ability.

Not only that the upcoming GW's for April is entirely wind based so during the two week Magfest that just passed, everyone and their mom's were building up Fire grids to be on element since they want to add resistance's to the higher level bosses in GW.

Also this whole thing was meant to save Fire since it's the weakest grid in game and not only can they not do it, this weapon basically is required now for any Fire grid whale or non whale. So players are pretty pissed Cygames sprung the raid resist on the solo farm nodes without warning us beforehand.

Kintoki is rarely used in long grind battle, he's meant to have a really hard hitting NP turn one. He's a pump and dump, but that's his niche, take Cu to longer battles. Both are way more useful than MHXA.

No, the problem was there in all the launch Lancers as well. You could kind of build decent rudimentary teams at launch focused on the particular card types, especially after Quicks got a buff with Okeanos (which was still before Scat). But none of the Lancers in the game would really fit into any of those teams. On the whole they lacked Arts cards (except for Benkei who's just bad), their Quick cards were shit at generating stars, and their Busters were massively overshadowed by the early-game Berserker meta. Liz was really only useful when the Dango event happened simply BECAUSE she was the only gold Lancer. If we had Fionn instead of her, he'd have been just as valuable, even though everyone can agree he's utter garbage.

Scat highlights the problems of the Lancer class because despite being easily the best Lancer by a fairly wide margin, she still falls victim to the exact same flaws as the rest of her class.

Difference is the two units I mentioned either have a niche or have a reason to be used. You have center your entire party around compensating for MHXA. If you're trying so hard to "make her work" where other servants don't have that problem then there's obviously a serious problem there.
