After playing this game tirelessly since release, I for one have to say I absolutely cannot wait for the release of PvP to add a new dynamic to this already spirited experience. It seems as though the skill cap for almost all build approaches to this game is near endless already, and the added aspect of PvP is just going to make it more insane.
So the question is: Do we know ANYTHING about what the PvP will be like?
I for one have not been able to dig up any useful information, but has anyone else?
If anything, what are your educated speculations on what PvP will consist of?
The only thing I know is that all human characters and revenants etc do not have any ability that a player does not, in order to prepare players for its onset. What do you know?
Finally, I'm sure it's a ways out, but is there any info on a release for this?

Not sure if my stats are actually any decent at the moment. I pumped a lot into Body without even using spears and now I don't want to remove it as Spears are super useful for duels.

Body 18, Heart 20, Stamina 12, strength 8, skill 22, Dex 6, Magic 20, Spirit 18.

I been pumping a lot into Spirit as I used Raikiri throughout the whole game. Using the Warrior of the West set with a 1H Kat with a A+ Heart scaling I found on a Rev and a Dual Kat.

Any advice? Not having trouble at all, but should I reroll the Body out

You know I love Nioh far more than I do The Witcher 3 but I can't imagine why someone would find the story of Nioh better than Witcher 3 unless they have a massive hard-on for alternate history stories.

Assuming unlimited ninjutsu? Get rid of heart and strength and dump into dex until you're capped, then skill after. It's worth it to dump 5 more magic points to for the instant cast.

Dexterity never stops giving the highest ninjutsu damage and has higher kusari damage scaling than skill, skill is next in line after dexterity though.

No, those two can stack. The ones that can't stack are two "Change to Attack"-style stats, and by that I mean you can never roll two of those at the same time. The same things applies to elements, you simply can't get two of them. You only have to worry about this if you're for example trying to roll a specific stat scaling and you got another, you will have to replace it because you won't get your preferred stat as long as that one is active. I'm making it sound more complicated than it is.

Stay nose to nose with the wheelmonk while holding block. You'll notice it begin to "inhale" as a tell/sign that it's about to use it's fire breath attack. When it starts doing that just start walking/sprinting around to get to it's back and be ready to stop moving as it unleashes the fire breath attack. While it's doing its attack swipe the face with the glowing crystal and it'll flip over as if out of stamina. (don't remember if it actually loses all stamina or not because of this) While it's down, smack the shit out of it with and back off before it jumps back up with an AoE. So long as you stay in its face it won't roll around, but be holding block just in case. It's easy peasy lemon squeezy. Tengu is >>168755164 pretty much dead on. You can get the Visitor's Dragon Kabuto via some revenants in NG+, in The Ogress side mission in the third region right now, there are tons of revenants with the helmet on. It's only able to get via revenants or you live in Japan to get a code for it. It and the Lucky Tanuki are essentially region locked but can be gotten via revenants wearing the helm.

it doesn't have ridiculous health. it doesn't 1-shot you from full at the appropriate level unless you get counter hit, even in light armor. each limb can be damage at any time and you have some options on which you want to hit. you can even cannon the boss until you run out of ammo.

more importantly you're not locked into a tiny platform unlike 99% of these fights. you have freedom of movement up until you need to hit the head.

The paralysis effect is a real shock, but all of her attacks can be dodged easy and she isn't significantly bulky. Her audio cues are easier to pick up than some other bosses.

I ran through NG with dual katanas and NG+ with 1kat and I can say firmly I hate it. I think dual katana is just outright better, but the fact that most sets use a katana make all other weapons feelsbad late game because you miss out on mixing sets.
