It's the one about the Rokkenjima murders and you have to piece together what really happened.

There's things such as game (As in rules the character can see, not just the player) rules like red, blue and gold truths that you can use to and the plot is pretty complicated, with the final ending leaving some questions unsolved but there's still a rather solid conclusion.

Personally I don't know how well NDRV3 works if Kodaka was going full Umineko, since even casually looking at the game I can see that Umineko works since there's a lot of games and also bonus materials that expand a lot on the story, and one of the central things of the series (Magic) allows the game to go meta without breaking logic like NDRV3 did with going full LOL FICTION. That is to say, Umineko pulls it off because the game is literally designed to work that way while NDRV3 doesn't feel like that at all.

The resolution a certain character also gets in the final game was also beautiful, while when I look at NDRV3's ending it just makes me want to pick a book up and chuck it at the nearest wall.

One by one, her trembling fingers let go of the hilt, and with a soft thud, the knife falls onto the carpet. She throws herself on me and buries her face right where the knife should have gone, Clutching at the fabric of my clothes. Her whole body shakes feverishly and I scoop her body into my arms and tell her that everything will be okay, just like usual. Her silent sobbing turns to wailing that echoes out into the dimly lit corridors beyond the door.

In V3, the TRUTH/LIE thing doesn't seem to matter in the end. whether they were all brainwashed and forced into competing or not, Saihara's life is still fucked up going forward and is a different person from who he was when he started from on his experiences during the course of the game.

You know what's equally as hilarious? Amami's luck might not have been the only factor seeing that Kiibo was needed to get everyone out, but Ouma casually wonders if Kaito's way of making himself known through space is by dying way back in chapter 1's pre-trial and since Maki was supposed to be the one executed Kaito was definitely not meant to die in space, except he did because of the exact circumstances of Ouma's death and his own premature death causing a rock to knock Kiibo's antenna off when the rocket crashed back down.

So there you have it, both Amami and Ouma wanted to end the killing game and collectively their luck resulted in a series of completely unscripted events that ended with the destruction of Dangan Ronpa.

- Cast is all clones of their normie selves. That way it explains why society didn't care if they died, because they weren't "real" people.

- Team Danganronpa kidnaps normies against their will and fakes their audition tapes.

- Cast really were Danganronpa superfans exactly like Tsumugi said.

- Remembering Light memories about Gopher Project were partially true and the cast really were SHSLs at Hopes Peak Academy.

-Danganronpa is a VR TV show and that's why they seemed so hyped to kill people, because nobody would actually die.

-Danganronpa V3 was actually an in-universe movie with actors. That explains the fans leaving the theater at the end.

This is true in the sense that Saihara rejecting Dangan Ronpa in the end was also a big part of why things played out the way it did, but he also wouldn't have become the protagonist had Kaede not done what she did.

So in a way you could say a single deviation that happened in chapter 1 eventually snowballed into an unstoppable force in chapter 6, because there was no way for Shirogane to handle Kiibo and all the other survivors since she never expected things to go south in this manner.

In that case I'll start off by reiterating that saving an evil waifu and making her at least chaotic neutral is a patrician pleasure that only men with the finest taste can enjoy.
Going on, I want to say that DR2 is stupid and shit, characters are shit, plot is shit, it tries too hard to distance itself from DR1 but just fails, so in the end you just end up subconsciously comparing it to DR1 in every possible way. It also had a stupid theme. Finally, I want to say that Miu is much better waifu material than anyone in V3 since she has no downsides in her SHSL personality. Whereas others are shady murderers, the only way she tries to harm someone is through a virtual reality, and she cant do that IRL to anyone, which makes her arguably the most harmless V3 character after Angie and Himiko.

One thing that makes me curious about chapter 1 is that while Amami definitely suspected he could be the first victim Miu's room also opens in the same chapter and she wonders if Ouma is asking to be killed before backing off.

The creepy BGM seems to imply Kaede should be the killer, but what if chapter 1's murder was just meant to kill either one of the two biggest threats? It does make me wonder how much Shirogane can improvise if things don't go as planned, as the set seems to be pretty remote so she can't run off to TDR to get other items.
