It only lowers the specific damage, not the overall damage; eg your gun does 100 impact, you add cold 90% and toxin 90%, and then your gun does 100 impact + 180 viral.

If you apply a -impact 30% mod, your gun will do 70 impact and 180 viral (-impact doesn't lower this), meaning it's not too big of a deal considering how elementals are far more important. You have +dmg +multishot which are gonna do you much more good than the -impact will harm you.

I really want DE to limit all launcher ammo to, like, 5-8 total. And a shitlong reload. So in case people take tonkor, simulor, penta and other stuff like that, they would have to use sidearms for everything, that's not a crowd or really tough single enemies. 6-8 months ago on ps4 you could push trin, ash, saryn, volt for decent amounts of plat. Hell, almost any prime frame sold well. Now you cant sell trin for more then 40 max and saryn is selling at best for 50 plat. Weapons are even worse selling wise.

I know thats the nature of warframe. I know things drop in price when more people have said items but now popular items have switched to acolyte mods, gold tier frame parts, and rivens. Its a whole new game since last year.
