There's a lot of irrelevant information in the default unit frame. Portrait, dedicated name bar, target level, etc. can all be communicated much more efficiently.

It really doesn't matter what you use, but pruning irrelevant information or information displayed elsewhere is efficient by definition.

So, I really enjoy Unholy. However, apparently nobody likes them in PvE, so I don't think looking for Mythic groups is really all that viable for me.

BUT, supoosedly they're great in PvP. In general, how easy/hard is it to get into PvP these days? In Vanilla and early BC all I would do is play Rogue in BGs, but I haven't done shit in PvP since then, so it's been a long ass time and I'm incredibly unfamiliar now.

Why have MMOs degenerated to this? You used to need 6 tanks and on WotLK it became 2. Ever since MoP raid design has changed such as you need less healers and more DPS to get a boss over with before he enrages.
Then you see MMOs like GW2 that do away with the trinity or FFXIV where in an 8-man you have 1 healer and then an off-healer that spends 99% of the time DPSing anyways.

Yeah, most people raiding (be it lfr or mythic) use either DBM or that other "dbm-like" addon (a little bit more customizable, forgot its name).

Sounds are fucking annoying, especially on Trillax for example, when he spews arcane shit all over the place and sounds play all the time. I just turn off most of the sound effects and move warnings to the top of the screen, so it's optional to look at them and they don't take so much space in the middle of my screen.
As I said, timer bars are pretty useful, just to be aware of the phases and adds spawns so you can decide if you want to use cds or not.
So yeah, at least some parts of dbm are useful to have.
