As far as I know, the .bat file method only bypasses the launcher so the game doesn't overwrite unauthorized files automatically. If there are any bad files, just run the launcher normally and they'll be replaced by the launcher's file check process.

For the mag I've been feeding it r-atk stuff and the odd house item to keep it's dex down, I think it's level 25 or 30 now with all of it's points in r-atk.
I've been forgetting to put in my skill points for a while now so I probably have a bunch just sitting there. Is it costly to respec a tree if you fuck it up really badly?

I wish they'd release 12* units that are worth upgrading to that aren't behind complete garbage drop rates. Farmed multiple Gix and have half of the mother weps at or about to be +35 and I've never seen a ray or astra unit. Never seen an invade either but even that is barely worth it nowadays.

It depends, they slowed down changes tremendously in ep4. There's been barely any so it's been a pass drought for a while. It feels like they don't know how how to progress at this point sometimes.

Ruins SHAQ (lv71+ enemies), and I think maybe Heaven & Hell XQ 6-10 both drop Nero stones, but rates are terrible in SHAQ, and XQ is limited to 5 runs per week.

You could also run LQ for badges and convert them into stones at 20 per stone. Or buy Solo PD triggers which drops up to 3 for 50 badges (usually 1-2 though).

Hatou if you can get every hit to connect. Otherwise, Tsukimi/Gekka for the most dps in a short period of time. Guren is more efficient for sustained so only use Tsukimi/Gekka when you need the "burst." Keep in mind that counter leaves you airborne for a moment so you can do counter > Gekka.

shinkurou (it's actually not meant to be "synchro", they said on one of the streams they meant "shinku" in reference to it being red) has you swap between PAs four times to pump up it's finisher, yes. each of the other PAs does different things to it, from what I understand, though I'm not sure if it's supposed to be "stacked up effects" or "the last one before it changes the effects".

torim/aero don't have anything to speed their charges up, no. you generally have to know when and where to park to wind that shit up.

viola's basically a giant gimmick wrapped around it's awaken PA, with varying performance on everything between modes; unfortunately it's PP recovery always sucks and while it's stomp does loads of damage in awakened mode, it's fidgety to use because everything goes off so damned slow in that state. (honestly viola exists just to advertise 3button mode, much like razonde exists to advertise talis. unlike every other pet viola sucks to use with only three PA slots due to the awaken gimmick)

with jinga, unlike wanda you'll actually get considerable use out of it's "assault" PA, since the AOE is so damned wide and the damage is passable for being a cheap PA.

personally I think the whole "marron grenade bag" thing is terribly impractical, since the whole focus is abusing an attack that requires getting them smacked around a bit first to do it's damage. spots like mother's down periods or the cube nukes leave you with no way to pump up the bomb.

While I suppose that's true, equivalents are a bitch. It doesn't help that you're affixing to make up the base stat difference (hp vs pp), rather than to benefit yourself further. eg. union vs izane. to catch union up to izane in hp, you'd need to affix 75hp. that's an ult hp soul and stamina 3. to catch up izane to ray, that's an ult pp soul and spirita 5, or an ult pp soul, spirita3, and a fever/doom break. That's just to make up the base difference. But lets say you affix astral, that just makes both a case of astral+stat4 to cover it (and then some for hp), but astral is a slut to affix. When you have something in mind, the cost of the extra slots really starts adding up.

maron is probably best for damage, charging it up and setting a weak bullet, banish arrow, chain trigger, etc, works well.

I just came back to the game after not playing for 3-4 years and picked up Austere Units to replace my old White Tail garbage. I have a little over 200m to sink but I don't really want to spend all of that, I'm willing to go maybe 50m per unit? Is that enough to get me somewhat decent RAtk affixes or do I need to dump more into it?

Why the hell would you want to buy a pre-affixed Saiki set at this point in the game, that's a tremendous waste of money. Not only do people charge a huge mark up on stuff that's already affixed, Saiki is also very outdated and not that great anymore.
Buy the Invade Rear and Arms and trade them for their respective Austere parts, then compliment them with 12* Legs of your choice and do the affixes yourself.

Those AC boosters are a huge waste of money, leveling is piss easy and the game throws more 75% boosters at you than you can possibly use. Dunno when you last played but they nerf the exp curve pretty much every year, starting fresh you can hit level 75 on your main class in a week of casual play nowadays if you have a rough idea of what you are doing.

For MAG feeding just save up Photon Spheres (trade 10* weapon drops for them) and then use those to buy SAtk Devices from the Photon Trader. Just mass feed those until your MAG is lv200, it's quick and easy. Not even really worth bothering to feed normally anymore

It's so fast it basically doesn't matter. I personally did dailies with extra COs for XP and EQs as they came up and when I finished those I threw in some solo VHAQ (with NPC partners). Once I got to XH I farmed the LQ for some badges aswell. Basically just play the game and make sure to throw in 75% Xp boosters constantly once you start getting 10* weapon drops. Also don't be afraid to triboost for stuff like elder and mining base 3 or 4 EQs and make sure to join parties.
Alternatively if you have friends just spam AQs with XP boost.
