I show back up, have my flags re-enabled and someone makes a youtube video a few days later. I ask admins if everything is fine in game and it isn't really my place to immediately jump in and start telling people whats what.

Admins say its fine. One admin privately goes to Pomf and asks him to turn on the bunker. Population stays exactly the same because it's fucking winter holidays and every old face is back because they have time off work/school.

We go on. The thread keeps shitposting about a hippie invasion during our peak month when everyone that has ever played here is on winter holidays. Another video gets made and we get posted on Reddit a few times. I take both players that posted us on Reddit (not by IP but a screenshot was enough) and tell them personally that I will ban them if they continue. They don't do it again to my knowledge.
Hippie has some drama where some user is exploiting their broken code and making their server crash while saying it's us doing it and everyone should raid us. No one actually raids us. Server admins within 3 days find out whos doing it and permaban them.

Then Hippie looks like it's actually going to close. I read cptwad complaining about shittery in modchat then another admin who I forget the name of complaining the next day about shittery.

I put the bunker up as a precaution with a set date then turn it off. Admins are fine with it and fine afterwards and are not reporting any abnormal levels of shittery.

Now we're here at Feb 15th. Hippie never closed. Hippie players are still on Hippie. I think we got one pretty outspoken hippie player and we banned him for breaking rules.

But in all this "the thread" constantly said the server was dying because we were in the high pop phase of the year (along with summer). A round started earlier with 6 players connected. Are we dead now? Am I freaking out to get more players? No.
