That is why Femui isn't really the problem in Fates and I excuse a lot of their problems. They were super sheltered and praised their whole life. If they don't know what they are doing wrong and constantly get praised for doing something stupid. They can't change doing something wrong if no one calls them out.

The problem also comes from both families and the fact that Corrin has a weird connection with Azura and follows their bad decisions blindly. People don't call them out really because Corrin has the winning personality in game (agree with that or not for whatever reason Corrin is beloved/personable storyline wise.) Any mistakes they make are just brushed away because they like Corrin.
