So I'm gonna add a gag Amy Arm and gag Burial Blade to my repertoire, the question is still gemming.

I currently have a nice set of 27.2% with Stam Up 3%, and a decent set of Nourishing 18% and two 21%s.

My thinking is that Amy Arm has lower Phys Base Damage than the BB (hilariously), but more Arc Base Damage, so it should get the Nourishings.

Choosing between my wife and my husband is too hard

I've been leveling up to 99 arc but wanna try out some stuff like the HMS now, at 58 arc is it too late for me to turn back or should I just keep going all the way?

For some reason I thought Kos Parasite benefited from the 99 but its just tools, and 58 arc seems like they're doing decent enough damage + there's only a couple that feel usable in pvp now that I've gotten all of them

Im having comfy time chilling with that one prego ant thing at cainhurst castle that just mills around like a cow while I smoke my spliff, and I'm having trouble remembering any other case of it. What is a beast? The abhorrent beast had me thinking I had a grasp of the concept. That a man could ultimately become a beast but utterly lose the n on essential and especially most identifiable traits of a wolf (related to this I think it's interesting the way snakes start to play a role in this as you descend away from Yharnam, in more minor cases of, well, bestiality). But the Darkbeasts totally fuckin throw me off. Theres no life in them, at all (and consequently why is Paarl in the heart of OY?)

As a rule of thumb Bloodborne levels have one lamp per level start and one per killed boss. If you walk into a new level and there isn't an immediately obvious lamp around, explore a bit and you should find one.

Not sure if this is what you're talking about, but he said in his video the guide would basically change people's understanding of "beast mode" (which wasn't in the game before the DLC). All the guide did was elaborate on how beast blood pellets worked I think.

For fire i think beast cutter is good for the serrated damage but i am unsure about bolt.

Don't bother converting the Church Pick for thrust damage. Unlike serrated, which is applied to the weapon's damage regardless of type, thrust is purely a physical damage type and you lose it if you convert the damage to arcane.

I am genuinely curious about why Uncanny is supposedly better, though. Apart from Phys, radials generally offer the worst damage. All odf parasite's attacks have 2x modifiers are better, so all these +15s people OCD over (which is the only reason people deal with farming BHAs) don't matter at all, so I can't imagine why someone would want their Parasite to have two radials and a triangle except for that reason.

I have to assume just one BHA radial, a Watcher triangle, and a Beast-possesed waning overs just as much AR at a fraction of the farming time.

From what I understand, it really is about squeezing those few extra numbers out. When I was building for it, I was told I needed one (maybe two, it's been a while now) HMPH Elder Cold Abyssal, Watcher Triangle and a BAH radial. Well that's the thing OCD nerds will echo without thinking about. On the stat sheet, those +x's might make the nominal AR look a couple points higher, but the problem is that they don't get modified by moveset mods, so you can actually *lose* out on some damage.

My theory is that they're alive. It's just that their beasthood is so advanced that it's crept into the very source of their blood- their bone-marrow.

The term 'Undead' isn't really spooky necromancy fancy shmancy in bloodborne- I think it's just in reference to things that have achieved a totally different type of life after being exposed to the old blood and Great One fuckery. They look 'dead' but really, it's just that their life functions aren't dependent on organs and skin and crap- just the blood.

That's what I think slimes are- beasts that degenerated into beings of pure blood (well they're filthy so it's not 'pure' but you get what I mean- they're the blood of a being that IS the being.)

I haven't beat it yet and I'm hoping it steps it up later on, but right now the enemies seem terribly stupid and predictable.

And sure, soulsborne enemies aren't amazing when they're trash mobs, but so far Nioh has less of the visceral combat I hoped and more of a Final Fantasy 15 'dodge attack, hit enemy in the ass.'

And yeah, you can simplify BB to that too, but you all play bloodborne, you know how that's a simplification.

But Nioh... well like I said, I'm not too far in and I heard it gets better. But so far, meh.

I kept getting one shotted or two shotted by a buffed madman in a FRC. Then I put on the cainhurst armor and the same attack that would kill me in my beast hide garb only took like 70% of my HP.

The level up screen only shows AR for their untricked modes, which mainly scales with Skl. Look in your inventory to see the Blt AR, which should be separated from the Phys AR.

The AR isn't lying, the Parasite just has huge modifiers on most of its attacks. You damage is determined by AR, modifiers, enemy defense, etc so your damage output will rarely ever have the same numbers as your AR.
