Can follow up shoulder charge with a double tap of the light, but I'm pretty sure you need to have a generous amount of distance left in the charge for it to work.

You can also dodge, but its difficult for another Warden. Try dodging backwards if you are at a fair distance away.

I've seen people saying that THE LAW is too slow to actually capitalise on his shoulder-throw move.

But I don't think I've ever NOT landed a top heavy after it. Is that just my opponents being shitters, or is /vg/ simply wrong?

They need to add a fucking deadzone for the mouse. This port is utter trash without a controller. If you drag in one direction, then snap back to the center, it then switches to the opposite direction. It's so fucking frustrating, causes me to get hit so often, and flicking is an instinct from years of playing rts and shooters. How the fuck am I supposed to retrain that muscle memory? They should have added a fucking deadzone, seems so fucking obvious

Because the guard break is not only the hardest thing to avoid, its the most punishing.

If the attacks are "too fast to block" then you are in the delay after an attack, or you just need to "git gud" as they say.

As for her mobility, just about anything will hit her if you active it DURING her dodge.

If you are a fast character, feint to bait it, then light, but always prepared to counter the GB if she predicts your feint.

Now tell me your class, because universal advice isn't that helpful.

If you are playing Shogu I'm pretty sure his super armour refreshes every 5 seconds, use that to hit her through her attacks. She usually strikes twice though, so block her first attack however you can and then attack through her second.

I am also guessing you feint your charged overhead at any time during the charging period, use that to bait her from a distance and then go for an armored GB imo.

If valk's dodge counter works as like the technical test, you can use light attack after dodging into an attack like the other assassins. Light attack can't be blocked and inflicts bleed.

2 good players dueling, one as orochi, one as warden

orochi player tries to kill the warden, who is not attacking at all, for the duration of the entire duel, utilizing feints, guard breaks and lights and fails to connect enough times to bring the warden lower than 75% HP. even the times that the orochi connected were due to the warden being overzealous with feints. round goes to time and it's a tie.

i've messed with savegames from other ubisoft games so i'll try to help

go here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\

inside that there is a folder with random string

inside that are folders with numbers which correspond to different ubisoft games you've played

inside the game folders are files like 1.save , 1.save.upload etc.

the hard part is figuring out which one is For Honor

just make a guess and change the file extension of the savegame and open the game to see if it reset and if not change it back and try a different folder

The problem I have with this video is that most characters have a way to open up especially if there's no superior block involved, I don't play orochi but I know they're very reactive, in that a lot of their shenanigans are countering the opponents offense into other stuff, I don't think orochi has much of an offense outside of those situations and their general quick swings and what not.

So it'd be nice to see this done in a warden vs a warden scenario that can actually get close enough to cancel into shoulder and start pressure, and see if its still similar.

Still tho, defensive play is too strong. also in general it feels like stamina is too much of a shackle for offensive play while providing no disadvantages to a tired player when theyre on the defensive since the only option you lose is parry.

Seems pretty obvious when you think about it, but is it really that easy to reactively punish the quickest moves especially in certain matchups when you start including other elements of offense?

Also, why is no one complaining about the health regen on the last bit of HP? it makes the situation even worse since you can't even whittle down a guy with low dmg light counter/whiff punish pokes when hes low, you usually almost always have to get a heavy, a GB, or a lucky trap with a 2 light chain when they get antsy or something.

I have no idea why the fuck they built their stamina system this way. Why would they not just follow Chivalry's example and make it so blocking and whiffing drains stamina while landing hits does not? And they should actually make it so stamina does something when it runs out.
