The loot issue I would attribute more to most people here never playing in "serious" guilds on retail.

It's very common in serious raiding guilds for a few people that are better than the rest to get a lot of the gear to begin with in a tier of raiding because those are the people that you can rely on to not fail at silly mechanics and to play their class optimally.

Unfortunately, that isn't the case in /wpsg/ where at least half the people here will screech anytime a loot council doesn't give them an item they wanted even if they've shown that they're one of the people who DOES fail mechanics or does subpar DPS for their gear level.

Introducing CCP - Corrupt Clique Points

It functions the same way as DKP does but with some added rules

-Each shitpost grants you 1 point(maximum 10 per day to combat people with unlimited daily shitpost quota like pickles)

-You get 5 points for every person you manage to recruit by shilling hard enough for your dead server

-At the end of every raid a strawpoll takes place where you vote for the best and worst performance of the raid. The best raider of the raid gets 10 points while the yarrick equivalent of a raider gets minus 10 points

You vastly underestimate the desire some people have to FINALLY play tbc...vanilla and wrath have had some decent servers...tbc servers are either old or trash or both...noone would ever quit a semi-decent tbc server, if it had a semblance of a playable population, because the population is too low. Nostalrius did change the standard for private servers but that does not affect tbc that much because there are not really any decent, not fully progressed alternatives

Servers that are up for years are irrelevant at this point because it's hard for a lot of people to justify playing and leveling on a server that everything is already dead PvE wise and people just shit on you with their op arena gear PvP wise. There were 3 No Queue members in one of your early Firelands "clears" and the scripting was shit. While this is second hand information, I know first hand that Tier 11 was/is broken for months before they even bothered to try and fix it. I highly doubt any of them ragequit, but then again being in a Senna raid in combination with the awful scripting of that server can do that to people so I wouldn't blame them.

Why even bother if they're going to customize bosses like Beth? Just go make a guild on one of those lvl 255 servers and kill custom content. Means just as much (nothing).
