Got this stall deck for today's loaner deck. It was actually pretty effective and restricted the NPC at every point by relying on mask of restrict and recycling it throughout the duel. Seems to be well thought out considering the little stall cards we have available to us right now.

Yes. The starting deck is terrible and you only win against duelist NPCs because they have worse decks than you. Everyone who plays PvP have opened at least few packs and managed to replace the vanilla 800/600 monsters with better stated ones so don't bother until you open a few packs.

I've been rewatching the anime and there are some things that I don't understand.

Why did Bakura bother to try and continue collecting the Millennium items after he sealed a piece of his soul in the Millennium Puzzle? Even when he had the chance to steal 5 of the 7 items at the start of the last season, he just gave most of them back to Yugi. If his plan was to hijack the Pharaoh's trip down memory lane, why did he bother trying to obtain the Millennium Rod from Marik?

If you want to get in yugioh in general you're better off downloading YGOPRO and netdecking for a while although a new set has just been released and the current format has the potential to get pretty bad

The beginner guide is one big noob trap to be honest I would disregard it and ask here. Truthly you should try to netdeck. Check out the link to the duel links fan website in the op and look at the meta decks and check out where to get the cards so you can figure out if the deck is actually attainable for a new player and actually good.

You could open a shit ton of packs because the op told you sphere kuriboh was a good card but you spend all of your pack currency trying to get it now you have this good card with a shit deck to back it up. I really wish the op was changed if it's really telling people to do this but I'm too lazy to do anything myself so I'll allow it.

I've been thinking and theorycrafting lately, about decks playable here. The unannounced additions, while mostly trash, were a pleasant additio, especially that some of them actually gave me some ideas. I was thinking about sharing those thoughts, but I'm not sure if anyone wants to listen.

One thing I wanted to do is something of a deck guide for Jurrasic World.dek. Most people already know the core of the deck, tho I'm positive that's not all of you. Moreover, I have some thoughts concerning the actual options this deck has, as right now I think there might be more than one viable way to build it. I would also have a couple tips for newer people about playing the deck and some matchups.

Additionally, With 1.5 set that came out recently, I have some Ideas about what I cards and decks could actually be playable right now.

First and foremost, however, I'm interested in what other somewhat expierienced players think about what I talk about, so discussion of my points would be appreciated. This also extends to hoping that people playing different decks would also give their points of views and tips.

I started rewatching battle city out of nostalgia, and they still didn't follow the fucking rules back then.

Is there a a season where they followed the rules I the anime e at all? I even heard in the arc v the main character said "fuck the rules, here is pendulums."

Literally anything after the original series they follow the rules except for like final season ending battles where they just do heart of the cards to materialize cards from thin air. Or they have alternate dueling alongside real dueling like 5D's doing duels on bikes for the sake of escaping instead of dueling so everytime they lose LP they slow down. Or in Arc-V where they have this s ide dueling mode where instead of drawing cards everyturn you get a chance and picking up a random facedown card from your enviroment like from a tree but your monsters have physical form so you can ride them or get thrown by them.

Starting from GX the story actually gets enjoyable. Series enjoyment is doubled if you played the game alongside the series and got to see your cards being used in the anime as you use them in your locals. Later on they do some really sick fucking plays and they get more hardcore by using card games as weapons of mass destruction. its great.

You can't spend gems on legendary duelist drops

Look at the net deck from the op website and see where the majority of the cards for the deck you want come from. You are going to need a good deck to grind legendary duelist lvl 40 where it's easiest to get the drops you need so you might as well spend the gems but towards the packs that can contain the cards you will need in the future. You will have no fun hording your gems and will get frustrated and drop the game before you have the deck.

Fair enough I did the same thing a couple of times because it took me so long to get a Riryoku but you've got a week of extra rewards and a limited amount of keys
Riryoku makes such a big difference to the farm deck, particularly if you have a 2nd Cerb as well, as you can gear the deck towards being able to consistently get to 100LP and add in cards to get extra points

yes. stop defense is decent alternative for star bow. keep in mind Cerberus is only reliable to farm select LDs and honestly riryoku is pretty overrated for farming. it helps getting over 9999 damage assessment but over 5000 is fine (1800 points compared to 3000 points)
