Lately i have been thinking that we could have variants of our game modes, nothing incredible different, but enough to make it feel like its not the same thing but with a different colour

Example: Wizards but with Slasher-style antags
Use spells but not the same as wiz.

Maybe both cults could summon both deitys at the same time (highly unlikeable) and the end of times could be a big ass cult fight.

The standard ban length for ick ock is 15 minutes. Maybe Zealotron should have applied a note, but why should he log into ss13 from EVE to apply a 15 minute ban? He spoke to them to stop. They didn't do it, and got a day ban for repeat offenses and hasn't since.

I have done by job as a IAA sucessfully several times and demoted plenty of people, even helped make a minor bus, librarians are the designated chill role made to relax and be comfy, lawyers are discount IAAs and while rare, space court is fucking great and happens, not a lot, but its like everything in life, the harder and rarer it is, the more satisfying it is. Space court CAN be great, but lots of wardens or HoSs will just tell you to fuck off. Even when it does happen, it's rarely serious at all. I love playing IAA, I've demoted bad heads and sec, I've started buses, and it's a fun role. But most of the time, people just play them as assistant+, since they have no real responsibilities.

And yes, American hours usually, but I love playing late at night and during work hours. Work hours is really the only time when we still have comfy lowpop, but I don't mind too much.

See, that's what I like about IAA, you are considered nothing much more than Assistant + and yet you can actually help the round massively, be ultra fun and allow bus, there is little expectation and great potential, thats why I loved playing it, not only RP, but because it was legitimately a fun role that could influence the round, for the better, even if just a chat as some dude requested centcom some TTVs or a complaint that sec was being shit from a clown/greyshirt.

We aren't a super serious server and wardens/sec is generally stressed because they do secs job for free, while in the stigma of *BWOINK* haunts them constantly, try and talk gently and calmly to them, de-escalating is a lost art in ss13 but one that any job with interaction needs. Ill be honest, a silly as shit court case is usually much more entertaining than a super serious one.

That's what most of the trials that I see boil down to. And the same thing applies to other jobs. People don't ever act like they're doing a job, they just use their character as a vessel to do it.
