First time BLT build guide here. Here are my stats so far. Blown through Cleric and Gassy, bout to tangle claws with BSB. Rockin the Spear and Rifle Spear so far

The Nightmare, singular. It's an alien dimension, a real place you can go, comprised of layers/spaces stacked on top of each other, sort of. It's kind of both at the same time. It goes like this

Nightmare of Mensis (can be seen in the distance of the Frontier)

Lecture Hall (we access Mensis and Frontier from this location)

Nightmare Frontier (can see both the Hamlet below and Mensis above)
Fishing Hamlet (can see towers of the Hunter's Nightmare under the waves)
Hunter's Nightmare (snailgirl falls from the sky, from the Hamlet above)
Hunter's Dream (Awaken Above Ground for everything)

Why they look like the places they look, we don't know. Maybe they're copies, temporal or otherwise, maybe people/Great Ones make them look certain ways, it's never explained.

The terms Dream and Nightmare aren't literal, in-universe it's possible the first people to travel to the alien environment described it as nightmarish. It's also another Lovecraft homage, to his Dreamland stories, the Dreamlands were a real place but different beings had different access points, humans went to sleep and Ghouls went underground, for example. Maybe humans sleep to go the Nightmare, but we also get directly teleported.

Summon people. He's all but meant as a group hunt boss. And fighting him like that is fun as fuck.

To beat him solo though either ramp damage with BBPs and Fire Paper, or make yourself a serrated Arc weapon. Roll under his attacks towards him, and focus on breaking each leg one at a time and eventually also his face.

Why does my Parasite do more damage when i have 9.1% Arcane ATK + Arcane ATK 62.5?

In the op its recommended to get a 27.2 arcane triangle and i have one with 26.3 but it still does less damage.

Well, there's your answer. Flat damage does work better for the L2 nuke, but that's about it.
The important thing is that every attack you use has a modifier, and the Kos Parasite's in particular are very high (slightly higher than 2 in a lot of cases). But flat damage will never be affected by said high modifiers, or any modifiers period. It's always just a flat value in the formula.
It's deceiving. Throwing three 62.5 flat gems on a weapon will inflate the AR, but what the screen doesn't tell you is that those values aren't modified. The Kos Parasite's AR may appear smaller with the % gems, but the high attack modifiers are there to compensate.

There is no "best" Skill weapon, each one is great. Rakuyo is easier to win with in PvP but kinda lackluster in PvE. Saif is easy to use as well in PvP. Experiment with every weapon that benefits with your build. Get 10 Blt to open up Rifle Spear, Bowblade and Reiter for more options.

Yeah don't stress yourself out over minmaxing. As a general guidline though focus on Vit first. You want 30 sooner rather than later. You'll get more AR from upgrading your weapons than from your scaling stats in the early-to-mid game.

Don't fret over Shards and Twinshards, either. You can buy them later so if you like a weapon get that thing to +6 without worry.

Aim for fiddy Strength if you want to keep using the Kirk, it's a decent weapon. Every weapon in the game is viable and getting stuff to +3-6 isn't a huge waste compared to +7 and higher later on. Djura (minigun dude) is ignorable. Don't bother upgrading your Pistol any higher if you aren't leveling Blt, just keep it as a parry tool.

Kin is a term for something transformed into a creature via experimentation with alien blood. Brainsuckers, Celestial Ayys, those little slug babies, they all used to be people, at least in Yharnam. In the chalices it's up for grabs.

As for the Emissaries, they were people turned into Emissaries to help commune clearer or somehow reach the Great Ones. People you send to Iosefka's clinic get turned by her, you even see a dead one, or one that was in progress, lying on a surgery table next to the chest with a Communion rune in it. Choir makes them as diplomats to Great Ones, basically. The babies up around the Upper Cathedral Ward? Well, they're outside the Orphanage, take from that what you will. Brainsuckers appear to be people mutated and addicted to Insight or something.

Nah. Arcane is kind of an all-or-nothing stat for specific builds, with few exceptions. Nothing wrong with putting points into it to try out the Hunter Tools you'll find later in the game, though.

Adding fire/bolt/arcane gems to pure physical weapons makes it scale with Arcane while ignoring Str/Skl. Since you're doing a Strength build, you don't have to level Arcane. There's a few Hunter Tools (spells) that are usable with low investment. 15 Arc for a handful, 18 Arc for another parrying tool. But solely for Item Discovery it's not worth leveling above that.

No don't bother with leveling arcane just for that, you can find several runes in the game that also boost item discovery

There's only a couple weapons that make good use of the arcane scaling, and only one weapon with an S scaling in Arcane and it's at the very end of the DLC and only really worth it if you're going for 99 arcane (it's the only stat in the game you'd ever want to level to 99, all others stop giving returns far sooner)

Most Arcane builds will actually just use a regular weapon but slot in gems that convert it into bolt/fire damage

I've been running rpk off and on all week now and I have yet to get an elemental 27.7 with a Stamina curse. Every fucking thing, even the Temperings, which have made up at least 90% of my loot, has been 25-6% with Beast Down, HP Depletes, Durability Down, or Attack Down.

There was geometric fuckery with the clocktower leading to Fishing hamlet, but it makes sense in the context of the game and it's not really trying to mess with your mind.
