Speccing like this is pretty bad these days for PvP. Almost all of the points in Arcane go to waste, all to get a blanket silence. Blanket silences are not super useful, even in PvP, because instant heals are not particularly powerful (like they are in TBC), and Counterspell can be used pretty effectively once you get used to not being juked like a fucking noob.

Rather than blanketing a healer to kill them, you're much better off pressuring them by spamming damage into them. That's why Fire Mages Scorch so much, because it stacks debuffs like Imp Scorch and Ignite, and keeps healers casting so that they'll be vulnerable to CS and then being blown up.

If you want to spec Deep Frost, then you should go 17/0/44, which you can Google. A lot of points in that are up to personal preference (like Permafrost/one point in Imp Blizzard/Winter's Chill/Imp Coc). If you wanna make PvP highlight videos, you're better off as Elemental or Fire or PoM.

Just left my guild... I just couldn't deal with this DKP system and the attitude it fosters in the players. Basically it breeds selfishness, it's all about bringing out the worst type of behaviour in players, spurring them on to abuse the system to the max so they can get the most amount of points, and bid the least while winning the most amount of items. Everything becomes about the individual, and the focus is not seen as "Who should get the item to best further the interest of the guild?" But rather "Who should get the item so he can wank about it.". It's like loot fetishism on the worst level. Just the attitude and atmosphere it brings about is really toxic and it is not conducive to progress for the guild, only progress for the individual player. I've played in one guild before in my life, we used a form of Loot Council and rolling, and we made so much more progress, so much faster and a much more friendly attitude.

I just wanted to blog about that, i've been frustrated but now i'm relieved and glad to be free of that negative system.

Mostly built around self defense, and pet as main damage output. Start in BM and move right. Prio pet dmg over pet crit 1st, and imp WC over imp trap 1st. If you do choose to go deep BM for red kitty, you only need 3/5 frenzy since 60% chance to refresh frenzy for 8 seconds is plenty of time when you pet is attacking at a 0.92 rate. Aimed shot leveling is a meme, and scatter isn't worth dumping that much into marks for leveling. Play to kite, use imp defensives if they get close, get back to range.

Wasn't sure if 4% resist chance was better than 10 flat removal to all spell resistance. Imp slow/blizz I don't see being a huge help for the 2 points spent for it. Generally this gives the best damage output, while retaining the best support spells. You may have a decent time going AP frost with imp CS. Most people expect you to be either AP pom, or deep frost.

It's more just 2 points for ease of life. Reduces cost, cast, and boosts pets hp, which when your pet is down in a PvP zone, it's very nice to have timers/mana reduced. A normal revive takes 10 whole seconds, and normally around 80% of your mana, with your pet coming back with around 20% hp. With the 2 points, it takes 4 seconds, around 40% of your mana, and pet with a little past 50% hp. It gets you back up and running in the world faster, which is very nice in a high pop pvp server.

Is it even good? Once you lose your shield of 500 you lose the regen and it's a 30min cd. So many raid encounters will have passive raid damage higher than 500.

too bad you lose it before PWS so you can't cheat the buff really. i haven't tried yet with any other pots/shields like fire prot but if you could protect the buff somewhat it would be amazing.

IIRC You should be able to summon people to you if you are in the same instance, IE your group is in the grim guzzler and a new member walked into the instance, you should be able to summon him to the guzzler.

My understanding was until later versions of WoW you had to be in the same "instance" as the warlock. If someone was outside and you wanted to summon, everyone had to go outside. If the person you were summoning was in the instance, then you should be able to summon him to you.
