couple newshitter questions

how do change directions on the next attack youre going to do? as in the timing. I dont think this was ever really explained in the tutorials, generally I just press a different guard direction right after a hit and before the next one but it doesnt seem to work all the time, especially on conq where you need to do a diff one each time for the inf chain. whats the timing on when youre supposed to press it, as your current swing is going or after it hits or what

during the tutorials and shit I parried nonstop since they forced you to do it and it seemed really really strong. then once I started practicing vs bots I seemed to drop it completely since I was focused on learning the classes and their combos. is parrying something you can do on all classes, even the shield guys? are their certain classes you should be using it a lot against and classes you shouldnt bother trying?

fuck me, i just killed 4 on 1 in an elimination game. To be fair though I had the defense and offense buff at the same time. Hit my revenge mode, knocked 3 down, did the zone attack spin 2 win, killed 2 with it. killed the 3rd then went toe to toe with the 4th guy and just spam attacked him cause he didnt wanna even try blocking.

Theres many spawn points where a shield is like 5 feet behind one person while the other spawned in a wall corner with nothing. You automatically have to fight someone with 200% hp within 5 seconds of spawn. Its fucking stupid. This has to be one of the most rushed games i have played in terms of balance. What's best way to counter the Warlords head butt, do you just have to try and dodge away? Same goes for the Nobushi kick. They both seem difficult to avoid though this game has made me realise that I have the reactions of a mong so maybe I just need to git gud.

Been playing beserker a lot and deflect seems useless, dodging heavys seems to be the best choice, and you can't deflect after being hit, so the only use is for light attacks but dodging still seems to be better.

Today as a conqueror I fought an Orochi. Took half his HP down without taking any damage of my own -- he was a shitter. But he quickly became a piss ant as he sprinted away from me to a shield, then to an HP recovery... And just ran away from me grabbing buffs before coming back. The problem is I have no way to catch him as a heavy character, I can sit on top of one buff if I get there before him but that is it. Otherwise he can infinitely run and buff himself up before approaching me or ganking someone else.

That is my main problem with the buffs. If they are intended for the outnumbered player then maybe it should become a small automatic buff that builds up per death on his team? Otherwise it feels somewhat abuseable currently.

Deflect is good on the other assassins, but all Berserker gets out of it is a guardbreak, which he can't even get a heavy off of
Your gameplan as Berserker is hope your opponent is retarded and can't block your infinite chain
If they aren't, you have to rely on parries and dodge attacks and feints into lights, and at that point you're just playing a really bad version of orochi.

Pretty much nothing you can do against a half competent nobushi since she will just keep backing off and out ranging you, charge parry against shit ones.
PK you just block in the direction where she dashes to block lunge attacks and proceed to standard procedure of bashing the skull in.
Also secret to Conqueror is when parrying hold the heavy attack so even if you fuck up the timing you just start spinning the flail without lowering the guard.
