1. Get a Cu Alter/Jeanne Alter/Scathach and bring a Mashu to power through the Event if I have the nuts to do 40 AP.
2. Focus on my Zerkerlot and Carmilla. My MHXA is practically useless right now, apparently, and should take a back seat.
3. Black Irisviel card is apparently good, but I won't get mileage out of it for now.
4. Do the 10 AP/20 AP Event with an OP Support (?)
5. Do Chaldea Gate EXP 40 AP (? Unclear)

Anything else, guys? Again, sorry. Just got my career running on this game about 48 hours ago and trying to get myself up to speed.

MHXA isn't useless and could even be good, since her third skill can lower crit weights on a friendly servant, enabling your Support servant to hoard all the stars that turn since Berserkers themselves have the lowest star weight in the game. Unless the support is also a Berserker that is. The main problem is that ascending her would be very troublesome if you haven't cleared a lot of the main story since her ascension mats aren't easily obtainable early in the story.

Is there any downside to buying a starter account with your waifu?

You just need to make sure the seller has a decent reputation if you do it.
Things like quartz accounts like that aren't worth more than a couple of bucks though, with accounts that have a couple of 5 stars being maybe 10-15 shekels depending on which. Quartz accounts are taking a pretty big gamble with how bad the rates are though.

They're basically just accounts that were created at launch and are logged in after maintenance etc though and gradually accumulate apologems.

Most of the time the chinks that sell them don't really care enough to do that as it'd probably come back to bite them in the ass in terms of bad reputation, and it's probably much easier to sell 5 shekel accounts 60 times, rather than jumping through the hoops to recover the account (which information they might not have anyway depending on how many accounts they're juggling in the first place) and trying to sell it for 300 shekels.

If i have like 30 stars and use it, I see a decently almost even spread and the servant I used star absorb down will still get some stars.

In another scenario, I managed to get 60+ stars in a quick chain and used MHXA's 3rd skill next turn on Okita. Okita only had 1 card that turn and she didn't get a single star.
