Promotions are terribly OP and cosmetic promotions are balanced around people buying keys, not players who just want to grind out the rewards.
Cosmetics look like complete ass. Gaudy as fuck and completely derailed any sense of artistic cohesion or decency.

Not to mention actual updates have ground to a halt. There are constant TH promotions and ridiculous pets/outfits being added to Solomon's.
I mean we're starting to get TAPP projects as full updates. A few years ago the Invention tinderbox/hammer shit would have been in the "In other news..." section.

What? AC Zaros is nearly as expensive as Torva, more if you're going to use boots and gloves from Torva, and is very marginally better. If you make it yourself, or have excess money, then it's fine, but I would never recommend that to a normal player.
