Desecrate works well enough on this. This is the one I use and also the one used by LifeOfRio Honestly, in terms of raw survivability, this build is absolutely amazing. As long as you have a weapon that can kill and you have desecrate + shadows on, you're basically immortal. It's also not half bad for picking up teammates as well, it doesn't neuter terrify so you're able to get in there, pop a quick 2 around the mobs that more than likely gang banged the person who got downed, and then you've got a bit of time thanks to SoS and Health Conversion to just face tank anything that's not running away.

His walls are pretty good for operative defense sorties as you can box them in somewhere and keep them that way, they're also about the only way to not die painfully at higher levels as his survivablity doesn't scale well at all
His rumblers never die from anything short of a nullifier
His 3 is a somewhat useful pinch CC that has a deceptively wide range, but I'd only use it regularly against infested, and his augment for it makes him an okay tool in dedicated farming

His skills make him my favourite frame for mobile defense, sabotage, and defense missions. Is he the best frame for those missions, probably not, but being able to set loose rumblers to be hunter killers while I focus on looking for caches or guarding a stationary object works really well.

I also fucking love his passive even if its, again, not very good.

Puncture + Electric = Arcs Damage amprex style

So when a IPS damage type becomes X% of its total damage, it gains specialization bonuses with elemental damage, that doesnt require Status Chance

A prisma Gorgon with Cold Corrosive and a 120% impact mod, and it will crush armor.

A boltor with 120% Puncture, with Electric and Punch Through Mods will beable to shoot through a line of enemies and cause them to Zap each other to death.

Maxed-out Boltor build is in the ballpark of 32k dps.

But I'm running into some issues choosing which boltor to dump forma into.

Boltor Prime has a higher ROF, better accuracy, and status chance. It's also ~1k dps higher.

Telos Boltor has a 50% larger magazine, and the innate Truth aoe gas proc 25% hp gain and boosted parkour speed.
