The problem is that there's more sword users than anything else. Axe users in general are fucked because of that. Plus a good portion of lance users are general and as it stands nothing but fucking magic can kill those assholes.

Why is Heirs of Fate's ending so "feel good"? I don't really like this. Most FEs end with a sense of a bittersweet feeling. Yeah, the Nohr and Hoshido kids forget each other, but, this is like a fairy tale happily ever after ending. I really don't like it, which is a shame, because besides the End map, these 5 were really well designed, and pretty tough.

Try and get a decent Green and Blue unit to balance out your team. For Green, the best units are Fae, Hector, or Camilla. Best Blue units are Cordelia and Nowi, followed by Male Robin and Female Corrin.

Replace Elise first, she's not going to be useful to you in the long run.

Both Tharja and Lucina are good, your Tharja will obviously need more investment at 4 Stars, but she does have, overall, slightly more potential than Lucina in the end. It comes down to personal preference imo.

It's been a while since I last got to post this.

The way I do it is to give Kaze the HP Tonic, position the units as in pic related, let the Mages attack him, and then clean up on my next turn. He should have a very, very high survival rate; if I recall correctly, it only takes a single dodge from four attacks for him to survive, assuming he hasn't leveled up. Sakura heals Kaze, Kaze finishes off one Mage, Rinkah finishes off another, Corrin kills the last, Azura sings, Corrin kills a Wyrmslayer.

Another perspective, from the person who was having trouble with it at the time
>I paired up Sakura with Kaze for the +2 res, danced for HP tonic + vulnary, let him tank all the mages. Ran the fuck away so only 1 mage could reach, separated Kaze and Sakura. Danced Sakura to heal Kaze, tanked another mage. Finished the mages off with Kaze, Kamui dealt with 2 reinforcements. Rinkah sacrificed to the other reinforcements.
Note that Azura, Rinkah, Sakura, or Kaze going down in this chapter doesn't matter, because they'll be nice and healthy again when they return.
