I think "raid design" and "encounter design" are a bit different and that's mostly what I meant
I think the encounters seem fine, just the rooms you fight them in seem rather uninspired
certainly room for more environmental factors in boss fights

they just do a poor job of hiding the limitations of an arena, i think. if you look to wow encounter designs, the vast majority are still inside square and circular arenas but in those encounters you actually enter the room through another part of the raid and the edges aren't sheer drop offs into distant background.
