Honestly, I'm not really sure myself. I guess part of it is that Turians have always been my favourite alien species in the series, both culturally and design wise (I was big into dinosaurs as a kid). I also find the shared history (first contact war etc.) between our race and theirs a really interesting context and backdrop for a relationship.

The other side is that Turian characters in the original trilogy were usually pretty solid, and our previous Turian squadmate Garrus was great both as a companion and a romance option (scenes like the bottle shoot and the tango from Citadel still stand out to me).

Now I'm thinking about it like this, I think most of it is guesswork really, transposing common traits from similar characters from earlier games. I could be completely wrong, honestly, but until then it's fun to think about.

The whole alien thing has never really bothered me in these games. Yes, I would probably find another human or Asari more physically attractive, but the only reason I'm even doing the romance subplot is because I find the character interaction interesting, not because I genuinely get off at thirty seconds of poorly modelled tits clipping through each other.

Tl;dr I think she might be an interesting character, but am mostly bullshiting my way to that conclusion
