I think he had the potential to be when he was new on the scene. I liked some of his earlier content since it was relevant and he actually had to put out quality stuff to get people to watch since he didn't have a fanbase early on.

Now he just shits out a vlog a day for the views knowing his sheep will watch anything. The quality of his videos and how relatible he was as a player fell off a cliff when he went full whale too. Now he only clears SL because of his 50% VIP heal and only does well in other modes because of his absurd whale cards.

Ultron was lead. I tried it without strikers first and died so this was my second attempt. His uni bonus proc'd often too.

The change to his 6* skill making it a complete iframe was highly needed so that's great. His first two skills aren't iframes (when he jumps up a little) so he got hit in the match whenever I used those (I thought maybe the jump would make part of the animation safe) but they both have webs now so that'll be great in SL, not the best for WB. Will try him out in SL when it resets.

Can someone please try naked Octopus (doesn't matter much if he's T2 or not) on villain floors after SL reset? I'm interested how much NM improved him this time. Now he's got guard 8 hits for 4 sec shield on his 6* (and it's iframe), one stun and one guard break move that can corner opponents pretty easily. All of this looks good on paper and I think he can be actually viable now. It would be great to have such a versatile character.

In any case for those who asked in chat, here's what I've been experimenting with Squirrel Girl:

-Intro: Ok so Squirrel Girl is a pretty interesting character in FF that's pretty different than other characters. She doesn't fit the bill of glass canon or tank like almost every character will. She's something else entirely.
You must play her as a character TEAM. Think of it like an MMO where you have tanks, healers, and DPS.

-ISO: Looking at her you may want to use her in a more tanky roll because she has a summon, this will not work since the defensive stats just arn't there at her core. I know and have tried (unless I'm just doing it wrong).
So the only other option in this case is to try and max out her (not super great) damage potential. I currently have her with Hawks Eye which isn't the best damage ISO set there is, but it adds a small amount of survivability with Dodge and gives me a maxed out cooldown with cards.
Naturally Squirrel Girl is your DPS.

-Gear: Standard gear load 1-4 as everyone else yadda yadda yadda. However for her custom gear I did something different. From the days I tried to use her as a tank, I kept her recovery rate + heal proc test gear on. This may seem highly unusual and it is. Squirrel Girl is not great for taking hits or for dealing them out and focusing on one area over the other yeilds poor results as I've found. This gear will be important due to her rotation and works surprisingly well.

-Skills: At first glance her skills are all over the place, however her T2 is a key hint in telling how she should be played as it adds a lot of survival bonuses to her summon. This is your latchpin.
Her #5 skill summons a character that DRAWS THREAT. This is your tank. You want this thing out 100% of the time as it will be taking the hits for you.
Her #4 skill is also important since it's big damage. Note here that if she doesn't have her uni, you're kind of SOL since the vanilla version is garbage. A large mob of squirrels rushes from a distance, then SG divekicks in after. Stuns a bit.
Her #3 skill is a vortex. She spins and it draws enemies close to her, this is important for keeping threat focused on your summon.
Her #2 skill is a head stomp with a little splash which is ok after the vortex and causes a few seconds of stun. Avoid using unless you're fighting mobs.
Her #1 skill sees her summon three projectiles and gives her a small step back. Unfortunately she does not have a retreating skill, so you're stuck.

-Rotation: Keeping her #5 skill up is priority. From there, pester with #1 and #4 before running away to repeat. If facing a stun resistant boss, use other skills at your own discretion since it can get dicey for her quick. At full CD you can keep this three point system active.
When dealing with mobs, after a #4, performing a #3 for vortex, then when everyone is stunned and close, follow up with a #2 then get out of there.
Your Ob will keep you healed and due to how little you'll be hit thanks to your tank, the cooldown will most likely be refreshed by then.


Just what I've been working with so far and finding some success with. Don't take my word for gospel, just trying to figure things out for her since there seems to be little to go on elsewhere.

Strange is just there for emergencies, HIM is mah boi and does 99% of the work
tfw if the arena is the circular one and if you open with HIM, you can instantly run towards the left outer edge, Strange will start his 5* skill but get bothered by the arena's edge and will be susceptible to HIS debuff snare stun punch, then you get into an iframe rotation and then you're safe to spam the 6* meteors and wreck everything. Just started playing it yesterday but it's a lot of fun. Way better than I expected. I'm not sure what the endgame grind is like, but so far the early game is really comfy.

It's clearly pandering to people that were into Gen-1 Yugioh only which works perfectly for me. None of that XYZ, Synchro, Pendulum shit, all the characters are from the first two seasons, and the ruleset is streamlined for fast-paced battles.
