This is not what you're looking for but somewhat similar. You're still locked to your white sclera w/ red pupils normally, but they will switch to glowing during combat and glow yellow when you use night vision.

I think that's just part of the way the guy who made the set originally had the Steel Plate texture UV mapped onto the greaves. It seems to fuck with the env map at certain angles.

So I figured either BodyChange has yet another bug and it's fucking up lip tints, or somehow I managed to bug out the Nord race and it's fucking with lip tints. So, now that I know what I'm doing, I managed to migrate my character to Custom Races.

Except my lip tints are still fucking broken god damn fucking reeeeeeeeeeee

I have femaleheadnord_lips.dds in the tintmasks directory, and even if I completely remove all modded tintmasks this shit still doesn't work and I have no idea why. It's only happening for Nords (and apparently CustomNord). pls help

I think I permanently burnt myself out. I remember too many details, where everything is, what to do, how to tackle everything. I always make it a point after getting a new rig or a format to reinstall and have it there all prepped with overhauls, graphic extenders, gameplay improvements, the works but I just can't fucking sit down and play it seriously for any length of time.

I like Alternate Start. At first I thought it was just to skip that shitty ride but there's actually so much roleplaying potential in such a rather simple thing.

I've done some research and Skyrim doesn't really take advantage of octocore CPUs. I use a lot of script heavy mods and those are supposed to be very CPU intensive too.

When mod light I can stack visual mods and use a better ENB and still perform well. With 100+ mods running my CPU shits itself though and I have to roll back to using the extreme performance version of Seasons of Skyrim just to make the game playable.

Jesus so after a load of searching I found an obscure LL thread with 2 replies and apparently the lip tint bug is caused by a fucked up racemenu preset with really weird file path set for the lip tint for some reason, and if you load a preset like that, it'll infect your current session. Meaning, if you load another preset, even if it's not a broken preset, your character will still have an incorrect path after loading. Consequently, if you save the preset, it'll have the wrong file path again.

Fortunately, the fix is as simple as opening the preset in a text editor and fixing the file path. Unfortunately, the nature of the bug means your entire save is infected with it and the only way to get things working again as far as I can tell is to start a new save.

Not that it matters since I was on a relatively new save anyway.

I don't really get it, honestly.
Even people who are taking really good screens and actually seem to use the most of enb still say they suffer from framerate issues in certain areas, people are constantly saying enb isn't meant to be perfect for all situations and needs to be constantly tweaked, and a lot of people just use textures or performance enbs.
So all this complaint about se enb not having all these features I'm just like "...so? you probably weren't using them anyway"
But apparently that's shitposting so i try to see why enb would be good for creating screenshots but outside of that needing an enb with all those features just doesn't make sense for most users.
Like would I prefer enb have the billion of shaders and this and that and everything else? Of course. But does that actually matter outside of screenshotting? Apparently not.
And the ironic part is that they complain so much about consoles being the reason why sse was even released yet it was consoles that put an ephasis on visuals instead of gameplay and got us where we are today, yet all I hear about needing enb is visuals. Like if it doesn't look like a billion dollar hollywood production with 8k textures and shadows on shadows on shadows, then somehow the gameplay suffers?
I don't know. Reality is that years later when new people come to the elder scrolls, they're gonna be playing sse not oldrim.
