This article also confirms that literally every character can be raised to 5* (I know some people were confused on that) and that characters that are summoned at 5* can start out with "S-class weapons".

Also, when units die, they apparently lose the experience they gained on that map. So even though there's no permadeath you shouldn't just suicide rush things.

Oboro lacks speed and Hinoka lacks natural defense, so both end up NEEDING the Guard Naginata just to survive and fucking Great Knights have enough Defense and HP to survive being doubled and even with the GN Honk and Oboro still get mauled in 2 or 3 hits. GK Silas ends up being a better choice It's not a bad idea either to reclass Oboro or Hinoka to Great Knight after they promote. In Lunatic the enemies overwhelm you in numbers as well.
