Spend your points on attributes first and foremost. Those will always apply regardless of whether you decide to focus more on Signs or on Swords.

After that I would say to focus on Aard, the Group and Fast Steel, then Igni.

The only ones that are real traps are Monster Knowledge or whatever it's called since you can just read books or feed old women food rather than spend a talent point, the one that lets you fight better when drunk because literally why, and the one that makes you a better fist fighter because the fist fighting minigame seriously isn't that hard to begin with. Other than that they all have some use.

Depends on the setting, Triss couldn't wear her alternate in Novigrad, that's just retarded, it just screams "LOOK AT ME, I'M A MAGE, BURN ME AT THE STAKE", her normal outfit is casual enough I suppose.

Yen's alt I only activate for Novigrad and Toussaint, her normal outfit is way more practical in Skellige.

Has anyone else noticed that Gwent's card shuffling algorithm is not entirely random? Most wins-losses come in waves and sprees.

Interestingly, if you stop competitive playing at, say after 2-5 wins, and switch to casual play. And lose with your so far excellent performing deck (i'm talking top 1000 here with 460 games under one's belt or so), and then head back to competitive, the opponent's turn out as easier than they would have been if you had kept going after 2-5 straight wins?

Not that I am surprised that algorithms do most of the 'gaming' in online card-drawing games but man does enjoying a game like that seem dumb.

Dijkstra is an ambitious but not overly intelligent man who literally got blindsided and played by Whoreson Junior and the Eternal Fire.

He might be able to unite the North and stop Nilfgaard but like 90% of that is a lack of available options and Temeria being an ungodly tar pit that's consuming Nilfgaardian troops and resources like no tomorrow already. Him becoming Da King In Da Norf is like being made ruler by successfully tripping down a flight of stairs at the right time and he's only going to do dumb shit once he's in.
