Season 3 tweaked the ranking system since Season 2 was a 1.7-million-car-pileup in Plat with not nearly as many people in higher or lower tiers. this game is fucking obnoxious and i'm already considering uninstalling again after returning to try the changes for a few days.

hanzo is still a retarded hero, nobody likes him, it's not fun whatsoever and blizzard will never be able to do anything to hanzo even though they regret creating hanzo themselves.

ana is still fucking overpowered. lmao a tiny support that can deal 200 dps with no fall off and sleep dart that travels faster than fucking light.

same with zenyatta balls. just spam some choke point and spam discord button until it instantly connects across any range.

roadhog is still retard level strong and overpowered. blizzard is absolutely stupid for letting roadhog go on for this long.

nearly all of my deaths are to brainless choke and corner spam from every projectile class in the game. the rest is being hooked by roadshitter.

the worst thing is the inconsistency and laggy projectiles, there is absolutely no feedback whatsoever, you just instantly die. pharah rockets and junkrat grenades clearly move past your screen or around your character but still count as a direct hit. hanzo arrows make no noise or anything when hitting you, your character just falls to death. it is impossible to even see the arrow because of how bad the lag compensation is. you also don't even know if it was a critical hit or not. dying in this game, is some of the worst experience in games i've ever had, you just have no fucking idea what even killed you 9 out of 10 times, the only thing being a glitched killcam.

this game is incredibly badly balanced and designed, only getting away because it's blizzard, the fancy waifus and graphics. the map designs and layouts are awful also.

Widowmaker. She exists out of the game's "teamwork > individual" ideal and her play style creates a binary situation in which you're either constantly bogging down your team if you're not good enough or singlehandedly stopping every push if you are. On top of that, she has several ways to easily run away from what people say are her counters, which is typically agreed on to be tanks. Without these tanks, the enemy team is far worse off without someone to mitigate damage than the Widow's team is without someone to deal damage (since tanks also deal damage anyway).

Everything you said is completely correct. Every match is exactly the same: both teams stand at a choke point and shoot at the Rein shield until they have ult. Whoever uses their ults the best wins, or whichever Roadhog manages to pull an enemy first wins. Then you repeat for the next point. Even though the maps are fuckhuge, don't bother fighting anywhere else besides the choke. There's no point.

If you instantly die, there's no way to check what killed you, or what did how much damage to you. You just have to hope the death replay is clear enough to see what the hell is going on.

Roadhog's new hook doesn't let him hook people around corners, which is kinda bad for him but it's compensated by something way, way better: The change they made to the position people get pulled to after hook. Basically everyone gets pulled into the most convenient spot ever, an inch away and directly in front of you. You can now easily oneshot heroes that were notoriously difficult to in the past (namely Mei, Ana, and Reaper). All in all the Roadhog changes buffed him more than they nerfed him and people are going to (hopefully) finally recognize that he's overpowered.

D.Va is still a good hero. People will want to tell you that she's dead, don't listen to them. Things will sort themselves out with a bit of time.

The nerf to Ana's burst healing may help see a transition away from triple tank to 2-2-2 comps (in my opinion how the game is meant to be played). Ana's still incredibly strong tho and is still a must-pick in almost every situation.

Ultimate synergy is pretty damn important. Hanzo is one of the heroes that makes Zarya's graviton such a powerful ult.

Same thing goes for Pharah, Reaper, Roadhog, Junkrat, or anyone who can make fast work of someone getting pulled into the grav.

For traditional DPS, 120 damage a shot for such a mobile character isn't bad.

He won't die because if he's competent about using it, they won't be able to shoot him as he does. They'll either be in a graviton some distance away or behind some walls in a choke.

What's the point of having Zen, Mercy, or Lucio with her around? She heals far more than any of them can ever hope to. Lower her healing to 60 a pop and reduce the healing of her grenade to 75 and remove the buff from it and she'd be in-line with the others. The entire reason there's more than one character in a class is to have them all do similar amounts but with different kits and have something unique to each one for different situations: Mercy's damage boost and resurrect, Lucio's speed boost, Zenyatta's Discord Orb, Ana's Sleep Dart.

you "wah forced 50%" are the worst. elo systems are designed to let you get to an appropriate level. if you're stuck in diamond it's because you play at a diamond level. get better. win more often against players of similar ranking and your rank will go up until you've hit your 50% winrate SR.

I would say buff discord to 40% and then halve it when more than one orb is up. Give him a pool and the effects are spread out the more orbs he has up.

Let him have a high single target heal or debuff or a bunch of much smaller heals or debuffs.
