Honestly though, just play what's fun for you. All classes in this game are viable and good even valkyrie and maehwa despite them not being as good as the others. You won't have to worry about that though because Sorceress and Warrior are both the toppest tier classes.

You can say that, but I prescribe more to the "Leave your muddy shoes at the door" school of thinking. The game exists in vacuo with people interacting with it - they agree to play the game and follow the game's rules. Nothing exists beyond that except what players make up for themselves (but nobody is forced to follow player-made rules). Applying real-world ethics to video-games is messy, nevermind the fact it's totally jarring since in many games reaching the goal requires you to be immoral and unethical in some fashion.

In a MMO, nothing really matters beyond your personal enjoyment. That's where it gets complicated, as many people do have empathy for others even in videogames (I personally do) and part of their personal enjoyment is also maintaining the enjoyment of others - or at the very least, not drawing their ire and ruining your own fun in the process.

However, you're making a massive leap of logic that is a mistake. Game rules and in-game ethics should not always correlate, in fact, they are usually intentionally divorced in sandbox games. See EVE online for example - any action taken solely in-game is legal and fair so long as you're not abusing the game's systems to achieve it. Of course, the ire you receive in return is entirely legal and fair too. Ethics and morality is up to the participants of the game, game rules and systems are up to the developer. I wouldn't mix them, that's a big mistake.

The problem is that most people fail to see the game world as an extension of the real world - they perceive it to be entirely separate from and therefor above normal societal rules of behaviour, mostly because of the lack of enforcement of those rules. In real life, if you murder someone and steal their stuff, you are pursued by police, ostracized for the rest of your life, and if caught likely thrown in prison for a long time. In a video game, none of that happens.

These systems should be in place in the game in order to foster a morally righteous community, as humanity has repeatedly shown that its individual members will take any action which benefits them, no matter how heinous, when there is no negative consequence for their actions.

Some games have this system in place. In EVE, to borrow your example, CONCORD will show up and blow up an aggressor should they be in high sec space, and any form of aggressive combat will lower their security rating. At a low enough rating, players are attacked by the empires when they enter high sec (not that this matters because players at that level tend to have multiple ways of evading the NPC ships sent after them).

While I do not think the security rating system in EVE is sufficient, it is at least something. There should be harsher penalties in that game, and there should be similar penalties here.

The punishments for PKing in this game are pretty heavy already, and are pretty oppressive in allowing any kind of open world PVP that isn't guild vs. guild (which is already sterilized down to basically instanced node pvp). If anything, it's more punishing than EVE by far, since a PK in EVE will only slightly dent your permanent security rating, whereas 3 PKs in this make you go outlaw with massive penalties if you die.

I'm talking about severe penalties. Like if you kill someone outside of consensual PvP, your entire account becomes outlaws for a week, and you cannot simply grind it away or pay2lessgrind it away. In EVE it at least takes some time to fix your standings if you fuck them up.

Got a question maybe someone here can answer. Having an FPS issue where I am running 15fps in towns and maybe 30fps in the wild. Got everything set to medium with all the extras disabled as well as Vsync turned off. I know my computer isnt a beat all, but it should be handling medium BDO with ease.

Specs: 8gb RAM, FX-8350, and a GTX950
