I disagree with the clues. That stuff is called circumstantial evidence, evidence which only useful once we have figured it out, so not a real clue. When I heard the lines I was very surprised. Mercy and Genji have not had any interaction in the lore since the fall of overwatch and their first interaction in game was "You seem well" kind of interaction. A lot of the other Gency shippers have pointed out how they cry out each others names but I never heard them since I play neither, so this is not an aha moment, its more confusing to me that they went down this road.

So my argument is this, we have not seen it yet work narratively, not for the majority of people, since we have not had interactions between the two of them. And quite frankly, no I don't want an entire comic or short dedicated to their romance, we lack enough lore as it is already, so no I don't want any focus on that.

I am from /co/ and I was shocked at the quality. It's not bad, just thoroughly below average in every aspect. Dark Horse (the publishers) have made a lot better stuff and I don't know why they aren't at least giving some talent to this project.

If they are serious about telling the story through comic (I don't think so) then they do need both better writers and artists if they want to pull it off, or else it's going to disappoint.
