That boss was fine. The camera wasn't an issue, and I never experienced any fps problems. It did last a little longer than it needed too and got a tad boring by the third arm, but it wasn't tedious like you're describing.
The real bullshit is the mission that immediately followed. The camera was genuinely garbage there and it seems to be the most glitch-infested mission in the game. Twice I got stuck in the geometry, and a cutscene failed to trigger too. It doesn't help that the whole thing is just a total slog and not fun in the slightest. How did that shit get through testing?

Really? How?
I fucking love the game to bits, but even I couldn't see any redeeming qualities in that section - except maybe the brief part where you gravity slide.
It was impossible to tell half the breakable walls from the regular ones, so you were constantly accidentally walking through them and watching the camera spaz out every time. The enemies were posititioned so awfully that you'd have to perform camera gymnastics to attack them, and they were so close to the already close together walls that you would constantly get stuck on them, or shift onto them making you once again take yourself out of the action to readjust.
Forcing you to use only Jupiter Style is understandable, but the level is clearly not designed with it in mind, so it doesn't work at all.
It just plain didn't work, and is a terrible way to introduce the Jupiter Style. A wide open area rather than a confined space similar to how the Lunar Style was introduced would've been miles better - and being a much less obnoxious length would've gone a long way in improving it.
The game is damn lucky it followed up that mission by putting me in Hekseville since it made me nearly forget about the whole ordeal, but it was still shitty.

Also, can we talk about how good the fucking bosses in this game are? God damn, the music, the visuals, the fights are just so damn good.

PS+ games out on the actual 1st next month boys!

I'm more of a Majima man myself. The eyepatch gets me. A lot of Yakuza guys have always strangely been better looking than the girls, I feel. 0 has some real qts though.

I'm nearing the end of chapter 4 meaning that I've unlocked the six regular styles so far. I think I like all three of Majimas styles more than I like any of Kiryus though.

It's so much fun going around exploring ruins that are floating sideways. The scenery in GR2 is just amazing.

Fun, stressful, and a little predictable.

I am really enjoying the parts of the game where I am just exploring this creepy mansion for items to use elsewhere, and reading all the notes.
But between these sections you have "Jack Chase" parts, where you just have to run from point A to B without Jack catching you.
Then you have dumb 'Shoot these infinitely respawning blob monsters' sections, where if you back up too far from them, they despawn and force you too do it all over again.

If it was just exploring with a few enemies and boss fights, this would be GOTY easy for me, but the good sections are good, while the bad sections are awful.

The architecture in GR is one of the reasons I fell in love with the first game and the second game nails it too.

It's so unique and has so many design elements I love seeing, like how dense the streets are and how vertical everything is due to the limited land space.
