The driving AI is always retarded, but you lot only notice during import/export because you suddenly care about avoiding damage. My brother recently got GTA V on PC and I watched him play the first mission before going online. During the drive back to Franklin's house we encountered a green and gold Blade lowrider, the driver peacocking with his hydraulics and everything. I swear to you this is true.

you have to steal it, for helicopters you usually have time to get to the shore and drop it before they get you, for both you can just run a short distance from the car and shoot them.
There's more waves for more valuable cars, up to 4 waves of sultans and 3 of buzzards, just wait them out based on the car.

So here's the thing, and I'd be curious as to what the rest of you guys think.

Running from the waves of chopper/car vs fighting and defeating the 4 waves.

When you steal, the game occasionally spawns a chopper and a car to come after you.

If you stand and fight them off you're burning time and ammo.

If you run, you're risking significantly more damage, but you're accomplishing the mission faster and not burning any ammo.

It's kind of tit for tat. Personally when a buzzard is in the air, I choose to run. If its only guys on the ground I choose to fight.

I find time spent is irrelevant, unless other players are causing you trouble (in which case you should probably switch lobbies or hold off on i/e for a bit) there's no reason to rush, there's plenty of time, it's better to prioritise getting minimal damage, you're probably waiting for the timer to reset on deliveries anyway and if you let a ton of damage rack up it eats directly into your profits.

That's true. If you're running cars solo you can do a sale every 20 mins. Missions that require a 4+ mile drive can consume a good bit of that, then add the time it takes to fight plus the ammo you consume. You're probably right though, it comes out cheaper overall to fight since you can only sell about 3 cars per hour max anyway if you're working solo.

Personally I still run crates as well so my routine is:

>import mission
>delivery of the import puts me back at my garage so i do another sale

Pretty lucrative turnaround. It's the most efficient way I've found to do solo work now.

Theres no one way to do it as it changes based on lots of random factors. just drive as well as you can, typically you out run the cars and about 2k max damage from the chopper.

one thing, if you drive a route around a lot of tall building the chopper mostly ends up flying into them and killing itself.

GTA V on last gen is a very unstable game. With all the updates installed, the console is pretty much using all it's limited RAM to merely play the game. It puts a lot of stress on the console, which is probably why it crashes so often.

The one that always gives me a lot of trouble is the Stunt Prop pick up by the military base on the beach. It's like a 5 mile drive along the coastal highway to get back to the garage and it's open highway/air the whole route back. It's normally pretty easy to outrun the guys on the ground but the choppers can hit you from miles away since the line of sight distance is so long on that highway.

I barely have any type of connection with this vehicle, it's like seeing this cute girl in your college class and asking her out, only to find out that she has a rather dull introverted personality and is too stubborn to try anything fun.

This car just doesn't want to be consistent, you try to understand how it handles yet it still will understeer as well as oversteer at random intervals. Sometimes it brakes good and slows down, and other times it brakes bad and spins you out.

Doesn't help that it has the performance of a coupe, the classification of a sports car, and the price-tag of a supercar.

I also doubt it would be very difficult to increase the base payouts for the contact missions. Grinding for currency should be varied among all game modes.

An ideal Contact Mission payout would be based on time spent in the reverse of what it is now. It seems lazy to reward terrible players every 2 minutes with a new modifier on base payouts with the most money per hour being 4 minutes. If you're competent and complete a mission before 4 minutes you have to go afk to be fully rewarded for your effort.
