I think the funniest part of 5D's really is in the show from what I remember, they are very tame with Synchro summoning. The way they play makes it seem like a very average R4NK deck's pace.

In real life, though? Synchro Summon, Synchro Summon, Synchro Summon, repeat for like twenty minutes until you have an unbreakable board and maybe assaulted your opponent's hand with Trishula or Omega for the lulz.

Changes from Master Rule 3 to 4:
- Each player now starts with 12000 LP, not 8000.
- The player who goes first cannot Pendulum Summon on his/her first turn.
- New Banish Zone located behind the leftmost Spell/Trap Card Zone.
- New "4th Deck" outside of the Main, Extra and Side Deck, as well as a "4th Deck Zone" located behind the rightmost Spell/Trap Card Zone.

New Summoning Mechanic 1: (I'm assuming this is the summoning mechanic that "works well with Terrortop and Rescue Cat")
- Condition to summon: 2 or more monsters with different levels.
- If the condition is met, select the Material monster with the highest level and Special Summon a monster from the "4th Deck Zone" with the same Rank as it.
- All Material monsters go under the summoned monster, and the summoned monster activates its effects by detaching materials.
- An upper limit of 15 cards could be added into the 4th Deck.

The rumour mill should give us something to discuss other than tripfags.

I was at a casual tournament, just at some dudes house but we had pairings and stuff.
At one point I attacked with a Fusion monster and my opponent activated Mirror Force, I asked the guy that knew the rules best if I could activate my De-Fusion and summon the pieces in Defense Mode to save them, he said yes. However while I was playing Legacy of the Duelist I had a similar situation and I don't think it gave me the option to activate my set De-Fusion.
Was my friend wrong or did I just somehow miss the pop up asking me if I wanted to respond?
